Sopot is a green coastal town in northern Poland that will fascinate you with its beautiful parks, landscaped gardens, Art Nouveau houses and golden beaches. This famous holiday resort is home to the longest wooden pier in Europe and an old iconic lighthouse overlooking the city.
Providing cruises to the nearby cities of Gdansk and Gdynia, Sopot has long sandy beaches with lounge chairs and parasols. Thanks to its climate, the stunning architecture and relaxing spa facilities, it is considered to be one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Poland.
The pier is an ideal place for a nice walk to admire the Baltic fishing boats and the playful white seagulls. Known for the Sopot International Song Festival, it is also the right place to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities like sailing, windsurfing and skiing in Tri City Scenery Park during the winter months.
Situated on the main street of Monte Cassino, Crooked House is a strange building inspired by a children’s illustration. Another extraordinary attraction is Forest Opera, an open-air theatre in the middle of a lush forest.
Booking.com will help you find the right hotel, apartment, guest house or hostel in Sopot or in the area around Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport.
Sopot and Gdansk are an amazing combination. We stayed in Sopot and drove to Gdansk twice to explore the old town. Sopot is small and quiet, but gets quite busy in the central plaza and main street during the late evening. Our main takeaway from the trip to Poland was that the traditional Polish food was amazing. We highly recommend places like Karczma Irena, Pierogarnia Mandu and the small and cozy grocery stores like Lewiatan in Sopot. Ask them for recommendations for breakfast sausages!

Some of the highly rated rated restaurants seemed to be living off the past reviews. Not nearly as good as 2 years ago.
Marineros bar by far the best fish restaurant with superb and friendly staff. Great value by comparison with with sliwki compot (poor quality and overpriced), Prystan with no? fresh fish despite being on top of the fishing port!

A beautiful city, the polish people we met were super helpful and accommodating. The polish language is hard to learn but people made their best attempt to speak to us in english. Our dollar went a long way. The city was super clean and completely safe. We want to comeback for Christmas.

This is a beautiful area of North Poland - Sopot is squeezed between the hills and the sea, so road access is challenging. But, once there, it is a charming city: historically a spa area, now a coveted place for relaxation for locals and foreigners.
The location is hard to beat - within a minute’s walk from the beach and the main seaside attractions of Sopot. The rooms were spacious, very nice and clean. The hotel was occupied by very calm elderly guests, so we had a peaceful stay in the room.
Cozy boutique hotel in a British style, the room was spacious and beautifully decorated, so was the bathroom with both bathtub and walk-in shower. The staff was friendly. As for the beach - it is close-by, 3 minutes walk distance from the hotel.
Location is fantastic, right in front of the beach. Beds were comfortable, toilet small but well equipped. Marine furniture very nice. Parking is located just close by meters the hotel. It might be engaging to find a parking place.
Ideal location just 100 m from the beach. Hotel is very nice, rooms are big enough.
The only problem - bed. Mattress and bed linen is not up to 5* standard (i would say 3*) All the rest is perfect
