Everything was clean, it was close to everything and the view was incredible , I had also spoken to the host about a birthday decoration project which turned out amazing! She took care of everything so we could enjoy it to the full.

The apartment was great! The weather was awful when we were in Puerto Rico, It rained the whole time. Thank God we had a good apartment with an amazing view and we could hear the ocean when we slept at night.
The owner of the apartment was very helpful and we had great communication. He made sure that we had coffee grounds and milk when we arrived.
We didn't use any of the facilities like the pool or walk to the beach because of the weather so I can't review that.

just traveled to Puerto Rico for the first time and after looking online decided to stay at El Conquistador. First things first there is no airport shuttle and the resort is almost an hour from the airport. We were able to find an uber which was around 45 bucks to take us to the resort but due to its location when we checked out we had to have the resort set up transportation to the airport and it was 135 bucks. The resort exterior is very beautiful and after pulling in and seeing it I was very excited to see our room. Lets just say it was not as beautiful. We stayed in room 1312 which you had to take a trolley to reach. It was listed as a double queen room, the queen mattresses were set on top of a wooden platform so they sit very low to the ground. The resort is not beachside you have to take a boat over to the private beach that closes at 5pm. FYI the waterpark consist of three slides and a lazy river. The restaurant that is located upstairs that serves breakfast was extremely hot and was not air conditioned. I decided to try the brunch at the restaurant down by the Marina closest to our room. I went in and was seated by the hostess, I sat there over 25 min. I ended up leaving and when the hostess asked why I was leaving I explained that I had been waiting for over 25 min and was not even greeted. The internet is very unstable in our room. So watching Netflix in the rooms was very challenging. The hospitality and service at this resort was terrible. All in all I will never stay at this resort again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Fajardo is close to everything.
Fajardo is close to everything. About 45 minutes to the airport. Great location for visiting the beach. Great beaches, food and entertainment. I recommend going to Culebra island and Icacos island when staying there. Luquillo is only 15 minutes away and it has a lot to offer.

We had dinner at "Sal y Pimienta by the Sea", a well known restaurant in Fajardo on PR-987. We had stuffed fish, platanos, rice & beans, shrimp and every meal was tasty. We shopped at the supermarket "Pueblo" and they were very well stocked. We even bought a whole cooked chicken, which was our dinner one night. It was also very tasty and well cooked. We even traveled a short distance to the rain forest called El Yunque and went zip-lining with my daughter. This was an amazing trip.

The beaches are great (seven seas) ,but to do snorkelling, it is necessary to go to the near islands with a boat at the ferry terminal. The location offers plenty of possibilities and tours to visit these islands. There you will find nice fishes and turtles to observe as well as cristal clear water and white sand.
Restaurants are expansive compared to Europe but it is the same in all places in Puerto Rico. We preferred to buy and cook at home.
If you want cheap restaurants, you will have to choose Burger King or MacDonald which are not very local. It is necessary to have a car to buy food. There is a small store near the house.

The Fajardo Inn was a very good place to stay.
The Fajardo Inn was a very good place to stay. The restaurants that we liked were located 3 miles away in the Los Croabas (Seven Seas) area, not hard to get to after the first trip. We visited the El Yunque Nation Forest and hiked the trail to the Babbit Tower. We, also did the night kayak tour to the Bio Bay. Both activities were good experiences!

Beautiful hotel on a hill directly by the sea.
The whole complex is beautiful and well maintained. Our room at the marina was very large and we had a beautiful view of the sea and Isla Palomino, which belongs to the hotel.
A boat goes there once an hour free of charge. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful.
We loved our three nights at the Nautik. The apartment is close to the activities starting from Fajardo so we didn't need to take the car. We were also able to visit Luquillo and El Yunque, very easy to get to.
Gaby was a great host! My daughter enjoyed feeding the fish!

Everything! The views, Palomino Island, the huge rooms. I highly recommend El Conquistador Hotel, or Fajardo, PR in general as a vacation destination. Will definitely go back and highly recommend others to go.
the room was pleasant, the wifi excellent, the staff very accomodating, and the dinner in the bar adequate with very pleasant staff. We came on a medical appointment and were very well cared for.
