XPT Águeda - Alojamento Local is located in Águeda’s historic center, 12 mi from Aveiro and 25 mi from Coimbra. The property offers free WiFi access. I loved its location. We are on the Camino to Santiago and this was perfect for us. We were right in the centre of town. Close to restaurants and shops. Close to sights. Great place. Very uplifting
Águeda Hostel & Friends has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Águeda. This place is extremely clean! The room was very comfortable. There is a spacious kitchen and common area. It is very close to the Camino. The WiFi is great and laundry is available. The staff is hard working, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property.
Boasting a garden and a terrace, Bamboo Guest House is located in Águeda. All rooms boast a kitchenette and a private bathroom. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT!! The location is excellent, the house is very comfortable, cute and beautiful, it's nicely furnished, it has all kinds of amenities (specially in the kitchen). I've spent the same amount (even more) money for hotel rooms with less amenities. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because of the cold, but apart from that, it was amazing!
Located in Águeda, Residencial o Trindade features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Despite the bar in the ground floor looking a bit shabby, the rooms were extremely clean. Felt like being at grandmas house. Mr. Trindade and his family are extremely nice!

The city is very close to Porto and is worth seeing from July till September when the city is decorated due to Street Art festival. The oficial festival lasts 3 weeks ( July) which includes concets and other entertainings, concerts are free to visist. Till September people can enjoy the decorations. Not many places to stay at, so during the festival time it’s better to book something in advance.
Agueda is a welcoming and pretty town.excellent restaurants with reasonable prices. Easy to drive around and with plenty of parking. Agitagueda is a beautiful festival and the streets so beautifully decorated
This town has really gotten their municipal fathers behind a vibrant art scene. The avant garde decoration around the town must be seen to be believed. Whole streets with colourful suspended umbrellas. A bird impression covering the entire side of a building, sculpture everywhere. Loved it.
Lots to see during July. Agueda has an art festival going on. The streets are lined with umbrellas, there's live music and Portuguese food trucks and stands. It would take us just minutes to walk to town from our room.
We use it regularly for an overnight stay when travelling for the Algarve to the Douro. Food in the area is good especially chanfana which is one of the specialities of the area. Also for railway enthusiasts it is close to the Val de Vouga. Near to Aveiro which is well worth a visit, but parking is a nightmare.
We visited Agueda for the event, "Umbrella sky". There was a lots of events in the night and day, and it was great opportunity to be there. I've really enjoyed staying. A bit far from the Aveiro if you take a train, but worth going!!
I loved its location. We are on the Camino to Santiago and this was perfect for us. We were right in the centre of town. Close to restaurants and shops. Close to sights. Great place. Very uplifting
Very modern and clean. Comfortable. Great value for money
