The location and access to the private beach was exceptional. The grounds of the resort were clean, beautiful and easy to navigate around. The staff were super friendly and helpful. One of the best Algarve resorts, Albufeira has wonderful beaches, turquoise waters and the dramatic, rocky coastline that makes this part of Portugal so special.
Naturally, life here is all about sun, sand and sea. The most popular Albufeira beach is Fisherman’s Beach and you can still see locals bringing in the fishing boats every morning - if you’re up early enough, that is. Tunnel Beach is accessed through an opening in the cliff, and both have a variety of water sports.
Further up the coast is Albufeira Marina, from where sightseeing boat trips depart, while east of the town is the 9-hole Balaia golf course. On the way here, you pass Arias de Sao João, home to The Strip where the best bars and clubs are found, many staying open until the early hours.
The Old Town of Albufeira is more peaceful, and its cobbled streets house Moorish buildings and some great restaurants serving fresh fish. If you fancy a day trip from Albufeira, the 12th-century remains of Moorish Almoáda Castle in Paderne can be visited for free.
The town is around a 45 minute drive from Faro Airport and there is a fantastic range of beach resorts, small B&Bs and Albufeira apartments at Booking.com.

Albuferia is a beautiful town to visit for a few days.
Albuferia is a beautiful town to visit for a few days. There's a wide variety of restaurants and bars in Albuferia that will suit everybody's needs. I would recommend if booking activities to use booking premises at the Marina. Also I would definitely recommend using shoes with good grip especially if any rain forecast. Albuferia has alot of cobble stone paths. Here is list of restaurants which I visited for food, which I thought were excellent. Cabana fresca, Three harps, Bravo, O Farnel steak house, and Terrazzo. I would recommend Dolphin watching and visiting the Benagil caves. Again this can be booked at the Marina in Albuferia. Very easy to get around Albuferia .

Albufeira is amazing!
Albufeira is amazing! Little town providing the good mixture of city and beach experience. Many restaurants and bars around. I guess it's quite hectic and too crowded in the peak season of summer, but it was just perfect in October.
Few favorites:
Bars:
Steps Bar; staff is super friendly, best for solo travelers, and there is live music after 10pm, acoustic guitar, mostly 90s-2000s rock/indie/country hits.
Portas Da Villa Antiquity Bar; great decoration, lovely service.
Eddy's Bar; more of a pub atmosphere, nice staff.
Restaurants:
Indian Grill Rooftop; delicious food, 'better' prices in comparison, friendly staff, nice rooftop
Terrazzo; again delicious food, 'better' prices in comparison, quality service
By the Beach
Esplanada do Tunel; food is not very special, but the view is amazing, best for enjoying a few drinks during the day

I went thinking it would be a low time for tourism.
I went thinking it would be a low time for tourism. I think compared to summer it probably was but it was still full of tourist. lots of old ones, like me, as well. i would have wished for less and the hotel was in the center of town by the beach and really really noisy at night.

Honestly, Albufeira old town is horrible.
Honestly, Albufeira old town is horrible. It is the Blackpool of Portugal, overrun with drunk tourists. There are a few lovely restaurants but you could visit the Algarve and stay clear of Albufeira. The scenery and beaches in the surrounding areas is beautiful.

Location was ideally located 2 mins walk to a big indoor supermarket and 15 mins walk to either Old Town or New Town, the rooms are clean, very spacious and practical, the sun loungers are comfortable and the kids pool was great for the babys & toddlers, the staff and local Portuguese are lovely and welcoming, lots of very good restaurants in the old town, would highly recommend this hotel and a holiday to Albufeira! 🙂
All of the facilities were in excellent condition and very well presented. Staff were very friendly and the entertainment was tip top.
Although the hotel is far away from the centre of Albufeira old town there is a shuttle bus which is free of charge which runs multiple times a day from the hotel.
I also thought the hotel was situated in a beautiful vista spot with some great walks along the cliff.
Hotel was absolutely amazing! There was so much to do within the hotel & the location was so close to many tourist attractions such as, the old town, Praia da our strip! The staff were so friendly and efficient & the rooms were modern spacious! All inclusive was so beneficial as well! Really enjoyed my stay - I will definitely be back soon!
Location in the old town was excellent. The hotel is on the beachfront, staff were great and food was excellent. Couldn't fault it. They provided nightly entertainment and atmosphere was great.
