The resort was excellent. There was a misunderstanding regarding our room type upon check-in but the staff handled it well and sorted it out for us. Our (final) room was spacious with a view of the pool as stated in our booking. They also helped my husband organize a surprise birthday morning greeting with flowers and also a nice family dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The facilities were great and the food was fantastic too. Thank you for a memorable stay at Alcochete!

This great property is situated in a lovely quiet town. The location is great - the river promenade and restaurants are just one minute walk. The house itself was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable (and I am very fussy about this). The host was great and very accomodating. From this property you can easily reach Lisbon or the coast. I would definitely stay there again.

Alcochete is a very quiet place, every points of interest are at walking distance. You would find Bank, gardens, restaurants and coffee shops every where and friendly staff always ready to attend your queries and guide you the best possible. Recommended place to spend quiet times and enjoy good Portuguese cuisine.

I loved Alcochete.

I loved Alcochete. Not by any means touristy - so you get to experience authentic Portuguese and Lisboeta experience. Laid back, safe, elegant with stunning views and good choice of bars and restaurants

An extremely charming ‘local Portuguese’ town with many...

An extremely charming ‘local Portuguese’ town with many excellent restaurants on the Tagus river estuary across the vasco de gama bridge from Lisbon. an easy jaunt by car or by the ferry at Montijo. This is a lovely relaxing village, not a place for nightlife and excitement; for that you have to go to lisbon. With that said, the bartenders at Pelourinho make a great Manhattan!

A very peaceful place, with good food and lots of beauty - not just the center, but especially the area near the straw huts. A visit to the Samouco salt pans is important, as is watching the shellfish gatherers at work in the river.

Alcochet is a small village on the other side of Lisbon.

Alcochet is a small village on the other side of Lisbon. A 10-minute drive away, you can catch a boat that takes you to Lisbon city center in 25 minutes. Be sure to visit Kimoa beach bar for delicious cocktails and tapas.

Although the view wasn’t very attractive (over the car park) I liked all of it and especially the people working behind the front desk. The breakfast was good but I don’t like the fact you can’t order anything (like a boiled egg) while there is someone in the kitchen. All in all it was so much better than my last experience in another nearby hotel that was to say the least very bad. So if you need to go the Alcochete this is the place.

Location was FABULOUS - right in the centre of beautiful Alcochete & so close to the superb estuary. So easy to get to the many excellent local restaurants. Our host was most helpful & we really appreciated being met in person & given advice about parking which can be tricky.

Very nice hotel. Well appointed room - comfortable bed. Roof top pool lovely with a bar serving snacks too. Overlooking the sea. Very nice. Views of the 2 bridges into Lisboa. Underground secure parking appreciated. Lots of bars/restaurants within walking distance.

The flat is in the centre of Alcochete, easy to find on foot. It has several handy items, washing machine, hairdryer, kettle and a large fridge-freezer. The bed has a gigantic 180cm mattress.
