We loved our stay. Caniço is a beautiful and relaxing location. The house is close to restaurants, shops, Reis Magos beach, and even walking to Cristo Rei was possible ( great views). The house has everything you need. A fully equipped kitchen , outdoor space to relax, a nice living room. The host Paulo and Rodrigo were welcoming & helpful. They allowed a flexible check-in/ checkout. Senhor Paulo even gave us a ride to the airport. We felt at home. Obrigada 🙏🏼💙

The apartment is very luxurious and well equipped, and the view from the balcony is wonderful. We enjoyed having a glass of wine there on the warm Madeiran summer evening. The place was spotlessly clean and the bed is very comfortable. We received a very warm welcome from the host and will definitely stay here again next visit. If you stay here, make sure to spend a night at La Teraça restaurant. It's a fifteen minute walk from the apartment and absolutely lovely.

Beautiful setting in a botanical garden, excellent food, and very attentive and friendly staff. The rooms are quiet, spacious, and very clean. A terrace with two sunbeds and a table with two chairs provides everything you need to enjoy the sunshine. The hotel is situated in the quiet centre of Caniço and very well connected. It is a 20-minute bus ride on line 155 to the Funchal central bus station (teleferico). The trip cost 2.20€ p.p. in March 2022.

Really nice hotel. We choosed room with sea view. The view was stunning, nothing around to disturb us. The room itself was cery big and had everything we needed for our stay. AC was working correctly, we warmed up a little the room during the night. There are some parking places just near the hotel entrance. Nearby there were some nice restaurants. Breakfasts were nice but everyday was almost the same.

My flight to Madeira had technical difficulties and I could only get a new flight the next day, arriving in Madeira at 2AM. I was really anxious about that since I had to collect the keys directly from Miguel, the owner of the apartment. He was very nice and understanding, though, and I was still able to call him, even at 2AM. That was a big relief after my travel fiasco.

I come to Madeira several times per year and this was definitely the best place I ever stayed at!!! :) The view is awesome and the studios are decorated with so much love and great taste! Also, there is such a good vibe and positive atmosphere at the whole place, it was just awesome and Sophia is really great!!! We will definitely come back very soon!

it’s a beautiful hotel kind of dated because I had to change a room due to the noise of the patio door when at nights the winds are very strong and I couldn’t sleep. The breakfast is excellent and plenty to choose,the staff are working very hard to please us. The pool outside is heated so it make it easier to swim when it’s cold outside.

Hotel was on the cliff, with beutiful view. Breakfast was in the restaurant, that was on the cliff, so every morning was nice view. Hotel is only for adults, so there are peace and quiet. Pool was OK and beach is in the rocks, but there are stairs to water. Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean and in good location.

Location was great, 20 min. from Funchal, very close to bus stop, really calm and silent place, very close beautiful beach. We had a place for rented car in garage. And really tasty espresso in caffe close to bus stop. Host was friendly and helpful. I really recomend this place for staying in Madeira.

Spacious open apartment, full of amenities with wonderful sea views and access to a rental vehicle, all of which were made easy and welcoming. if you want to relax, enjoy Madeira and be made to feel at home, then this is the property for you.

Breakfast was excellent. However the main thing what I really do appreciate that when I had to shortened my staying in the hotel because of flight cancellation, the hotel paid back my remaining two nights` price without question.

thank you to MHM for the organization and management. Vila Madeira is peaceful, luxurious, near shops and beaches, and the sound of the wind this season and heated pool were very relaxing

Absolutely everything. On-site parking, elevator, well-equipped flat, radiator (which you appreciate even in Madeira in DEC), roomy rooms, 2 bathrooms, good location...
