Rafael was a very agreeable and interesting host. We had dinner and the food and wine were exceptional. The quality of the food was higher than any restaurant we’ve experienced so far in Portugal (we’ve been here 3 weeks, 1 was in Lisbon; in general not our first rodeo). Likewise for the breakfast.

Manuela was so accommodating and welcoming, super nice to arrive in that way, and she texted me information about nearby beaches and restaurants. Charming converted farmhouse, the photos were accurate. The bed was incredibly comfortable, it was hard to get up in the morning! Well-stocked kitchen, I had everything I needed. Was really nice to be in the quiet countryside, but so close to the nearest town and the beaches. The puppy and kitty cat love was an extra bonus.
