This is a beautiful little hotel, it felt homely, with not too many people. The rooms are clean with air con and everything seems new. It's really nice to have a little outdoors area to eat and hang up your clothes. The pool was lovely. I really liked the little kitchen, it had everything you would need to cook a meal. It's a great place to stay, definitely if you have a car. We never had any trouble parking and felt safe in a gated car park. Would highly recommend.
This hotel, 1640 feet from Carvoeiro Beach and limestone cliffs, is peacefully set apart from the bustle of Carvoeiro fishing town. It has a lush garden and an outdoor swimming pool.

Ample shops & restaurants in beautiful Portuguese town.
Ample shops & restaurants in beautiful Portuguese town.
Sheltered town beach although better beaches a short drive away. Great mix of different restaurants and bars, not too loud as did not see any “stag” or “hen” parties but enough going on to enjoy some good atmosphere, music without being too rowdy.
Plenty of trips including exploring the beautiful Benagil Caves, Pirate Ship Cave Cruise, sea kayaking, also water slide/splash park nearby in Lagoa.
Lovely restaurants serving a mix of various cuisines including fish, steaks, tapas, Italian as well as burgers if you wanted that.

Nice place... Beach not brilliant.... Sand not very nice.
Nice place... Beach not brilliant.... Sand not very nice.
Nice little shops... Nice cobbled streets...
Bit dangerous how the vehicles circle around the bottom of the main street... Reason being it doesn't seem like a road, it looks like it's a pedestrian zone but vehicles use it.

Carvoeiro is a hidden gem.
Carvoeiro is a hidden gem. It is full of good restaurants, friendly service and all within walking distance. It is hilly so would not suit those with limited mobility. Our favourite spot for breakfast was cafe fino and for dinner Villa Medici.

Carvoeiro is a really cute town!
Carvoeiro is a really cute town! It wasn't too crowded and had a ton of restaurants and shops. We walked along the Algar Seco trail to town and then took the tuk tuk provided by our hotel (Tivoli) back.
In my opinion, Carvoeiro was the perfect mid-point location in The Algarves. Easy to head in either direction to see many sites and towns (Lagos and Sagres in one direction; Albufeiro and Faro in the other direction).
We rented a car and found driving to be pretty easy (we did take one wrong turn and ended up on a street meant only for walking), but other than that, following gps directions and signage was good.

Carvoeiro was excellent, smaller and quieter than some of the other towns and still had more restaurants than you can visit in a week and they all were excellent. Easy walk to multiple beaches and lots of exploring to do with the Seven Hanging Valleys trail so close. No need for a car everything was a short walk. Carvoeiro Tours was an excellent boat tour of the caves that picked us up right on the beach. Boneca Bar in the Algar Seco was just a fantastic lunch stop after the tour for drinks and more exploring.
Absolutely wonderful Hotel. It exceeded our expectations for a luxury hotel during low season. The staff were very nice and attentive. Spa was amazing, including the massages. Breakfast buffet was outstanding - so much choice and the food quality was great. Location is perfect if you want to hike the coast trails, with easy walking to Carvoiero, Benagil and other beaches. We will definitely be returning to the Tivoli in the future.
Loved everything about this villa. It was like staying in 5 star boutique hotel. Location great, 10 minute walk to centre and beach. Kitchen had everything you need and more. The most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Pool amazing with so much space. Would highly recommend this villa!
Proximity to centre Carvoeiro, room size, free parking, pool area and breakfast were all great! Bar and Reception staff were fantastic! My wife got sick and the front desk was able to get us directed to the local medical clinic quickly for timely treatment.
The staff and service are all around superb 5 star. The Setting of the hotel is spectacular. Reception / management check in and out gave extra effort to accommodate our needs and were extremely helpful to all our requirements being met.
Absolutely marvelous hotel- village in a charming place at the end of the world. Fully equipped, villas, and all the necessary facilities in the village.
