We were there in November, weather was rainy and windy the first day, but sunny and 65 the second day. This is a hard town to get to from Seville, so we ended up hiring a driver to take us from Seville to Faro where we rented a car and drove to Carvoeiro. Lovely little town. We ate at O Cantinho and A Gale, both traditional Portuguese restaurants that I would highly recommend. Great boardwalk along the cliffs above the ocean. Easy to walk around, hilly, but that did not bother us. Pretty short drive to Praha Marinha where we hiked the the seven hanging valleys trail. All in all, a great spot for exploring the Algarve. I would very much like to go back here.

We have been to this area before and like it’s proximity to the town, you can walk there is 30 mins, Carvoeira, also there are supermarkets cafes and restaurants nearby, some of the later you can walk to. There are several interesting towns nearby such as Alvor and Silves and beautiful boardwalks at Alvor and Salgados plus the lovely walk at beach at Pria do Vale de Centeanes. Favourite place to eat for us have been O Algar at Benagil, La Bella Vita, Primavera plus Organic or Earth for breakfast/ brunch and Decadente for coffee snacks and drinks in the evening.

Lovely town. Lovely friendly people. Enjoyed everything the town had to offer. Highlight was the coastal boardwalk to Algar Seco. Highly recommend both Café Fino or The Earth Café for breakfast. Definitely check out the fantastic Indian restaurant Pani with stunning views of the ocean.

Went in early October and weather was perfect with wall to wall sunshine and temperatures in the 20s. Carvoeiro is a nice mix of buzz and good restaurants and pubs with a busy beach. Surrounding villages, beaches and cliff walks are stunning.

The complex is exactly as the pictures show.

The complex is exactly as the pictures show. There was nothing missing whatsoever. Extremely clean with very friendly staff. The ladies in reception offer a above and beyond service. Nothing was too much trouble. Although the complex has been built in the most beautiful location with extremely expensive privately owned villas surrounding it, it was quite remote and a car is required as we did not see evidence of a local bus service. We don't drive abroad and initially used the local taxi service but soon realised UBER were cheaper. We never waited more than 3 minutes. We paid about £22 to travel to Albuferia each way and it was worth it as the sunbeds on the beach were cheaper there so it swung in roundabouts. The complex was very quiet and we would definitely return. Beautiful apartment, beautiful complex and pool area, peaceful but more than that beautiful, helpful and kind staff

We've stayed in this hotel several times now and it never disappoints. This is our preferred hotel for our annual trip to Portugal and we always check here first for availability and price before considering anywhere else. This time we stayed in a 3-bedroom villa. The villa was very spacious and catered for all our requirements. We will definitely rebook this option in future if we can, especially if staying during the summer as the villa had its own private pool.

Absolutely love the backyard with furniture. The jets in the bathtub actually worked and I had an amazing bubble bath. Place was spotless. They provided dish soap and a sponge in the kitchen, makeup mirror, and pool towels, nice details. Internet was good and we had a work desk too. Lots of terrace space to work outdoors too. Great for families too.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, super clean and bright with great decor. The property is also beautiful with nice amenities (pool, tennis court), and the receptionists were nice and super helpful. It’s also in such a great location, with many shops, restaurants, grocery stores and the beach just a short walk away.

We travelled around the Algarve for over a week and Carvoeiro town and this hotel were by far the best places we visited! It’s very quiet and relaxing with birds singing in the garden. The studio was very modern, had a very comfy bed and a big terrace. We loved our stay and wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Location is great! 4 min drive to downtown Carvoeiro and the beach. You can walk though with a stroller uphill and on cobblestone is tough. Place itself is great. Spacious, clean, and lots of amenities though we didn’t use them.
