If I could give 100 stars I would, this hotel is AMAZING. My husband and I booked this last minute on our way from Porto to Lisbon, we wanted to see the rivers and countryside, and it was the highlight of our trip so far. It is off the beaten path but it is absolutely worth it, rooms are immaculately clean, huge and beautiful, the property is gorgeous and maintained like a pristine Villa, the pool overlooks an amazing valley with crystal clear rivers 5 minutes away, staff is so so friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast is delicious. Really cannot say enough about this place, we only stayed one night but if we would have known about this place sooner we would have stayed MUCH longer and it was so hard to leave, there is so much to explore around. Take the extra trip, it is absolutely worth it.

Everything was perfect. Hugo’s mom was such a delight. It was raining heavily when we arrived and she met us there in the pouring rain with umbrella in hand to let us in. Very friendly and accommodating. The house was very beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Always a delicious cake she personally made along with a wonderful selection of breakfast foods and beverages.

A cute little place with every facility... I cooked on the induction hob and in the oven, lit the log burner and used the washing machine. The bed was the best thing! It was comfortable with cosy fleece sheets as the nights could be a little bit chill. The electric shower was great with plenty of hot water. The walk into the nearby town of Coja via the ribeiro was my daily meditation. Although it had rustic features, this place was immaculately finished with modern details. Perfect!
