The area is lovely and the hotel is the only really sensible place to stay. Although there are balconies there are no views. The hotel is spotless and the facilities are fine for a night's stay. The garage is too tight for you car. Better to park on the front

It is a charming, small village, famous of stripped houses...
It is a charming, small village, famous of stripped houses of fishermen. Nowadays it is a good place for vacation on a beach or a good starting point to watch the nature of Ria, an estuary with birds and the nature. There are boat trips around the estuary. There are boardwalks along the ocean beach. The 'Maurisqueira' restaurant serve delicious fish and seafood. Aveiro is also close also with salina to visit and a passage on traditional moliseiro boat. You may also visit a porcelain factory 'Vista Allegre' museum in the nearby Ilhavo, as well as buy some porcelain in their outlet (if you have enough luggage allowance :) - don't worry, they ship everywhere)

The bed was comfortable but there was no air conditioning in the room so had to leave window open at night. It wasn't extremely warm when I was there so it was OK. And the area is quiet. The bathroom was clean. There is no fridge in the room if you want to keep anything cool. The location is perfect. A very short walk to the beach and to the lagoon front also. Costa Nova itself is lovely and very relaxing place to go if you want to switch off.LouiseIreland
