Located in the heart of Covilhã, Sport Hotel Gym + SPA offers air-conditioned rooms with a TV. Facilities include a mini market within the hotel. The Serra da Estrela National Park is only 3.7 mi... Location: Out of the historical center, but within walking distance (5-10 min), good access by car and short distance to points of interest and restaurants in the town. I recommend Zê do Sporting restaurant (be careful when ordering, a single meal is more than enough for two). Hotel: has its own style, interesting design focused on function. You have access to a gym (didn’t use), wet and dry sauna (used) and a swimming pool nearby (didn’t use). There is an open kitchenette where you can prepare your own tea or coffee or a simple meal. Room: large and functional, comfortable place for two bags; electric sockets: numerous and easily accessible, also near the bed. Bed: large and comfortable. Bathroom: middle in size, very functional, large space to put you toiletries near the washing basin and the bathtub. Breakfast: very good for all styles: French (different sweets and jams), German (ham and cheese), English (scrambled eggs, bacon and mushroom). Very good fresh bread. WiFi: good. Staff: nice and helpful. Parking: there are 5 parking places at the front door, a convenient option to unload your bags. There is also a large parking behind the hotel with access from 7th floor (yes, it’s the ground level on the back). To access the parking you must climb the stairs or drive about 700m following the signs for bombeiros (fire station), after U-turn, turn left to a dead-end road. There are few steep steps to enter the hotel.

The Pousada is perfect for a relaxing break. The views are incredible. The service is very good, made to feel welcome. You need to drive back down the mountain for restaurants etc but the Pousada has everything you want. The air is fresh and all you can hear are the birds, superb.
A great city to use as a base to visit nearby mountains and go hiking. Also, if it's the right season for cherries, head to the market and get some. This area is home to the famous Cerejas da Gardunha you see in every supermarket in Portugal :)
O’Serrano de Repleto de Magia was fantastic for dinner!!! Covilha otherwise is a lovely, slightly sleep city in the off season filled with very friendly talkative locals. Free parking at the city square until December 2020 so that was great!
Very friendly people. Usually we used to eat at the mall, but since it was locked down (it reopened monday the 1st June) this time we tried the pizzeria just in front of the mall and it had nice pasta and pizza. We had lunch too at Manteigas, and it was great. Yes, it is easy to get around Covilhã.
The city itself is small but has a nice vibe and some good variations of food, people main destination while staying in Covilha is to go up the Serra Da Estrela which is magical experience either there was snow or not on the top of the mountain.
Covilhã is a young and vibrant city full of students and some activity in the textile area. Very close to the highest mountain in Portugal, Serra da Estrela, the views are amazing and the food is the best you could ever had.
This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Covilha historic centre. The building has been the subject of an expensive and sensitive restoration and the decor and fittings are the best of contemporary design. The staff, especially the receptionists Kate and Joanna, were exceptional. We did not eat in the restaurant but breakfast was excellent.
Beautiful boutique hotel located in city center Covilhã. Walking distance from many good restaurants and the fabric museum. Spacious rooms. The indoor pool is ideal to relax before dinner! Breakfast is diverse and filled with regional fresh products. Don't skip any of the local produced cheeses.
Great hotel, on a great location. Very big concern about safety aspects around COVID-19, the exceed expectations on that topic. Great swimming pool and rest area. The restaurant food is also very nice and for a good value given the prices practiced in the restaurants of the region.
Covilhã
Everything, so different from a Hotel. Owners and Staff extremely lovely. Beautiful property, feel like at home. The owners love dogs and animal. Breakfast as much as you want, all freshly prepared for you. Organic fruit from the garden and homemade jam, and, and, and ……⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The hotel owner is so lovely and sympathetic. Our view from the room was so nice! It’s clean and comfortable. Don’t have park, just public park in front of the hotel, but always had a space available. Near the mean city tourist places. Simple, delicious and enough breakfast.
A lovely hotel with a spa, indoor & outdoor pools. The rooms were very comfortable with excellent facilities. We enjoyed super buffet breakfasts (included in the room rate) and dinners, everything was very reasonably priced. Free onsite parking.
Covilhã
Wonderfully located, beautiful rustic ambience right in the center of old Covilhã. Stunning in-house restaurant and remarkble terrace views. The owner, Chef's along with hospitality staff are what make this a specil stay. .

The guesthouse has a hotel vibe. The room was recent and clean, the A/C worked well. I had to arrive a few minutes after the check-in closure and it was no problem
Good variety of food at breakfast. Very nice lady at reception provided us with sandwiches and juice for very early departure from the hotel.

Covilhã
We absolutely loved the place. It's outside of the city, in a very quiet place, surrounded by a fruit trees and tiny forest. You can walk around the farm and look at the pomegranates and oranges on the trees - awesome. The house in which we stayed is beautiful and comfortable. You can easily see how much work and care the owners put into renovating and maintenance. You have there everything what you need. Rooms are upstairs and downstairs there is a common area with sofas, dining table and even a small kitchen that you can hide. If you want to go in a bigger group of friends, it's perfect for this. Quinta de Seves is definitely a place to come back again.
Beautiful location, great for kids, cabins were great for families, WiFi worked well, showers worked well. Kitchen well stalked.
