A cosy hotel inspired by Alentejo traditions and culture, clean and quiet, right in the centre of Fronteira. The room was very spacious and had the view on the main church with swallows happily swirling around it. The restaurant at the hotel is exceptional, with a large selection of very local wines, great food and deserts (do try sericaia with Elvas plum ice-cream and pumpkin pudding with sheep cheese ice-cream – some of the best and most unusual taste combinations ever!). The staff is very friendly and helpful, Tiago takes excellent care of every guest making you feel at home. We have already returned to Segredo d'Alecrim since our first visit to Fronteira and will definitely be back again!

The house is located in the center. Spotless clean, comfortable, very well equipped and charmingly decorated. The host Ana Paula was very attentive to details and worried about providing the best comfortable experience. The swimming pool is lovely and the outdoor space is precious. We’ll certainly return.

A truly wonderful and unforgettable stay! Our host, Valter, was incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive, always available to help with anything we needed. A special mention also goes to Pedro, for his contagious friendliness, care and genuine willingness to help. The property is simply wonderful: beautiful, cosy, comfortable and exceptionally well maintained. The heated pool is fantastic and, together with the peace, tranquillity and wonderful energy throughout the place, creates a truly unique experience. And the homemade-style breakfast was an absolute delight! We had scrambled and fried eggs made with fresh eggs from the farm’s own chickens, simply delicious, with that special homemade taste that makes you feel right at home. It was a fantastic experience, the kind that warms your heart, creates beautiful memories and leaves you wanting to come back. The hospitality, kindness, warmth and attention to detail made us feel truly special. We wholeheartedly recommend this place without hesitation! A wonderful place with wonderful people, where you can truly feel the peace, warmth and positive energy. We will definitely be back very soon!
