Located in Fuzeta, less than 0.6 mi from Fuseta Ria Beach, Moinhos das Marés provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a garden. So beautiful, the studio, the area, flamingos as neighbours, the view over the salt pans. Super friendly cleaninglady who checked me in and today by the checkout I met the lovely host-owner. Also do I recommend their tapas bar. This property is close from the centre of Fuseta, the beach and every 20 min a watertaxi to the islands who are super beautiful. I will book again asap. A big 10 for you all, keep going on like this.

Located in Fuzeta, within 984 feet of Fuseta Ria Beach, Apartamento Praia Fuzeta 2 offers accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and barbecue facilities. Excellent location. Great view from 3rd floor, and there was a lift. Apartment is stylishly furnished and a pleasure to spend time in. Good facilities for cooking, which I enjoy. Very clean and comfortable. Good mattresses and lovely cotton bedlinens. We loved the large balcony and ate all our meals there.

Lovely fishing village with active resident community and not dominated by tourism. Good beach and river with many fishing boats. Good cycle path to Olhao. Excellent train connections. Nice atmosphere and old traditional cottages. The large campsite does dominate the seafront area, and campsite tourists very evident in the town. Very popular with French tourists.
This booking turned out to be a special one. I had never experienced such a huge difference between the advertisings and the actuals. Let me highlight some of the points: Cleanliness was not stated in the advertising, but rooms were very dirty. Perhaps all furniture was somehow broken. A little room heater was provided but it did not work. When using the air conditioner for heating the outside ventilator made a tremendous noise and we could not use it. Thus it was very cold. No instructions for the TV 87 m² advertised and perhaps 55m² provided. Access to the pool was advertised, but there was no access. Although it was too cool to use the pool when a photo is advertised the access should be there. The bathroom was moldy, especially the sealing. I will attach a photo. The advertisement photo showed a totally different bathroom . A bidet was advertised, but there was no bidet. The shower was not high enough for me. I am 1.8 Meters. I attach a photo. A plastic door was advertised for the shower, but an old plastic curtain was provided. And because we did not have heating we could not use the shower anyway. We had no electricity for two daytime hours. and so on and so on. I will refrain from using booking.com now for the next bookings on my trip. This will be Algeciras, Casablanca and Esaouira.
For us, Fuzeta was not what we were expecting. It's very small and residential rather than offering much for tourists. However, it has big beaches (we didn't visit them) and a campsite and may be perfect for families wanting a cheap place for a beach holiday. There are several bars/cafes and eateries and we enjoyed the meal we had at a beach front cafe.
We love the location the restaurants the beach and the beach restaurant great place to watch the world go by and relax. The elevated views were wonderful in the morning from our balcony.
Loved Fuzeta, lovely fishing village and very friendly, easy to travel around without a car as the village has 2 stations and the trains are cheap, if you are a senior citizen and take your passport fare is half price. Looking forward to visiting Fuzeta again.
A lovely little seaside town, with a perfect mix of authentic Portugal feel, and enough options for tourists too! Campsite is really nice and big. Beach is really close to the town accessible by a wooden boardwalk, and the water in the lagoon is perfect for cooling off in the heat. September was a good time to visit as it’s less busy. The narrow cobbled streets can be a bit awkward with a buggy, and I’d imagine would be worse again with a wheelchair. It didn’t take away from our experience as we just took our time ! Lots of nice and reasonably priced restaurants. Especially great if you like fish!
It was a beautiful apartment conveniently situated within walking distance from the town and the railway station and walking along the Ria Formosa so it was easy to get around even on my own without a car. The views from the roof terrace and balcony were stunning over the fuseta ria bay and sea. It was lovely and peaceful and at night all you could hear was the sea in the distance. The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Being a female on my own I felt totally safe as you had to have a key to enter the building and separate keys for the apartment, The hot tub on the roof terrace in the penthouse apartment was private and lovely. Aline Mendonça was there to meet me on arrival and was lovely and welcoming and on my last day was so accommodating letting me stay later as my flight wasn't until late afternoon, and even when I had to leave the leisure centre opposite was lovely to wait in. Thank-you so much for an amazing holiday and for everything. I would love to come back again and stay here.
