Beautiful setting surrounded by nature — gardens, forests, and plenty of walking paths. It was perfect for exploring with kids and watching the sheep, chickens, and other animals. We loved the mix of orange trees, olive groves, and pine forest. We had a great time! The hosts were incredibly helpful and even offered to do our laundry for free. Breakfast was delicious and varied.

Natur Amêndoa is in a very peaceful village with beautiful views to the hills where the sunset is very nice to see! The owner, Laura, is an amazing host that takes the time to make the guests feeling welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast , prepared by Laura, it’s amazing ! The rooms are well decorated and clean! The terraces are very good to rest and the little pool a must to enjoy it on hot summer days! We will come back again!

The place is really well decorated and very confortable. It is the perfect rural house. Take into account that you are in the middle of the countryside and there are no restaurants or shops around. If you have no car (I came hiking doing the Camino de Santiago) you have to come prepared with some food. The place has all the kitchen facilities for it.

Great location, far out, but in 20 minutes at the coast and the next town Extremely quiet and perfect for a few relaxing days. Xana and Miguel have been such wonderful hosts, always available if you have any needs, but still 100% privacy. We would love to come back in the near future

Quinta do Vau is located in Mértola by the Guadiana Rivar and offers panoramic views of the scenic town and the Guadiana River.

The view is amazing! The room is very confortable. The breakfast is excellent, probably the best I've had in my trip.

This charming guest house provides rooms that offer scenic views of the Guadiana River or of the whitewashed town of Mértola. The Beira Rio has its own boat for tours of the Guadiana River.

A return visit - not the first one, and not the last. All good as always! Impeccably clean and comfortable little room in the 'budget' wing of the Hotel Museu. Multi-channel TV for news, and aircon. What's not to like?! Excellent value and recommended.
