I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and overall had a great experience. I would like to thank the staff for their professionalism and kindness. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options. Even during a longer stay, the food never felt repetitive. Unfortunately, during our stay we got food poisoning from an Italian restaurant outside the hotel. Once the staff found out that we were not feeling well, they called our room to check on us and make sure we were okay. We really appreciated their care and professionalism. Special thanks to the entire staff — I interacted mostly with Gabriela, and she is the only one whose name I remember. :) The only minor complaint I can think of is that the soundproofing in the rooms could be better, but during the night it was quiet and we were able to rest well. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing location. Steps from the Douro River. Many restaurants nearby. Hotel room was very clean. Staff was super nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Variety of milks and coffees. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The two bedroom suite was huge, and the room was impeccably clean. It was great to receive a stocked fridge ready to enjoy some cool beverages all included in our rate as well. It kept us from having to immediately run out to the store. Breakfast was excellent, and service throughout the hotel was wonderful. Being in Gaia meant great access to the Port Wine cellars which was very nice, and from the Rebello there are spectacular views of Porto and the bridges.

I had an outstanding experience at Wine & Books Porto Hotel. The room was absolutely precious—tastefully designed with elegant colors, stylish furniture, and a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The room was spotless, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable. The bathroom design was modern and luxurious, with a fantastic shower. As an Arab and Muslim traveler, I particularly appreciated the addition of a water bidet, which made the stay even more comfortable and convenient. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Porto, just a short walk from many key attractions and historical landmarks, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with any needs. With its great facilities, superb location, and excellent service, Wine & Books Porto Hotel is truly a top choice for anyone visiting the city. Highly recommend!
