Location: It was centrally located. It was near everything, but in a part that was still quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. everything was within a 5-10 minute walk. Hospitality: Top notch. Christopher at the front was welcoming & informative. Making the check-in process a breeze and showing us around. Karim was the usual bar-tender/server during the day and made amazing cocktails, remembered our drink/food orders and overall incredibly hospitable. Wait staff during our 2 night stay at the restaurant for dinner, were also incredible. Friendly & attentive. Room: Bed was large, allowing my very tall husband and I to sleep comfortably and without disturbing one another, We had a view of the small square in the front of the hotel which was also pleasant. Bathroom was spacious and beautifully done with a large rain shower head. Once again, a plus for my husband who generally has a hard time in Europe due to everything being "small" and/or "short". Restaurant/Food: By far the best food we had was at the restaurant. We went to a couple of other places and were not impressed with the quality in anyway (with the exception of one coffee place). Chef curated menu was brilliant. Breakfast, dinner & desserts were expertly cooked/prepared with attention to detail and taste. It was a treat to try their food and clearly a love for fine cuisine was felt in each dish we had the pleasure of trying. Amenities: Roof top pool was a nice plus for our stay, we had 1 full day and it was cloudy and a bit chilly. The slightly heated pool was perfect. We will definitely visit again. I wish I was able to take more pictures, but relaxation was the key this stay.

The facility was spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff was able, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was a wonder of variety broad enough to meet any taste and all well prepared. It was a real treat every morning. The location was excellent providing lovely vistas, an easy walk to the seashore, a comfortable distance from the downtown bustle while at the same time making trips to the town center an easy and very affordable taxi ride. The spa (the indoor pool, the sauna and the Turkish bath) all functioned well and provided a comfortable place to relax. We peeked in the massage room and look forward to making use of it on our next visit. Our room was stocked with necessities and clean and well planned. The terrace was comfortable and provided a wonderful view. For a facility that has only been open for a month the smoothness of the operation already is amazing.

Lagos is a walkable city with good restaurants and beaches. It's got a good blend of local community and tourists so it feels like a city with a community as opposed to a tourist city. We had an outstanding meal at OLI Wine and Dine - the chef is creating amazing dishes there. Also, good Mexican lunch at the Green Room. Pateo Velho at the Tivoli hotel was also excellent. Ponta da Piedade beach was beautiful and a good walking beach.

Wish we visited Lagos at the very beginning of our trip. The streets were fabulous. Would highly recommend Discover tours - we did the Golden Coast Cruise on our last day and it was the perfect way to end the Holiday. So easy to meet them in Lagos Marina and it was only on our last day we realised they also offered the dolphin & cave tours etc, so we could have gone to them instead of travelling to Albufeira at all.

The cliff walk was spectacular - easily accessible from the old town. The old town itself is great to hang around in with great bars and fantastic restaurants - can’t recommend Ciuccio enough - not the cheapest but the best food and service.

The breakfast was continental with freshly squeezed orange juice really good there was a selection of fruit yogurt fresh pastries cheese and meats and either scrambled egg or fried eggs well presented and fresh every day we had a twin room with marina view it' was beautifully presented very comfortable beds exceptionally clean it was the best sleep we have had in a hotel really quiet at night and the view was 5 star rating The staff were super friendly and ready to help at any time I would highly recommend this hotel

This hotel was beyond expectations, the services offered were up to 5 stars standards (help with luggage, transport to the beach, pool, restaurants, parking with electric charging). The views from the bungalows are amazing and one can sit long hours just admiring these views. The clubhouse was also a plus, including the barbecue restaurant. The beach is easily reachable (they offer transport) and is secluded and quiet (everything that we want). We will definitely come back.

Adults only was a new experience for us and so good…the resort was peaceful! Pools were a calm space and no early risers. The resort is very unusual in its set up with the rooms set at different angles with different outdoor spaces.2 pools with plenty of very comfortable loungers. The breakfast was the best I’ve seen outside a 5 star hotel…a fabulous spread each morning served in a lovely indoor/outdoor space. Highly recommend

I think that the Tivoli Lagos was the most unique hotel that I've stayed at. I could imagine Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall there. Built on a hillside it was laid out in a series or wings around central gardens with Koi and Turtle ponds. Beautiful! That staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were excellent.
