Hotel in Lagos
Tivoli Lagos is a 4-star hotel featuring spa facilities and a courtyard with swimming pool. It features an Algarve-themed décor and ambiance. Really enjoyed our stay at this resort! We were given a superior room and were surprised with a bottle of nice champagne and chocolates to celebrate our honeymoon... we really appreciated this and the personalised note! We really loved the room... very spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was served by the staff and this worked out fine. Parking is available at a location just outside of the resort. Service by all staff was excellent all throughout our stay - keep up the excellent service! We would definitely stay here again. Definitely recommended.

Hotel in Lagos
Located in Lagos, 1640 feet from Porto de Mos Beach and 1.2 mi from Dona Ana Beach, Lagos Atlantic Hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. My friend and I came across this hotel very last minute on Booking.com after a long and intense day of traveling and exploring. The pictures don’t do it justice, the hotel is squeaky clean, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. It is located in such a peaceful neighborhood with great views of the ocean, and don’t get me started on the breakfast which is so varied and yummy. The staff are so friendly and eager to give you recommendations on where to go and what to do in the area. Everything worth seeing is within walking distance so that’s a huge plus. An all round great experience, we would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Lagos.

Overlooking the palm tree-lined marina, this hotel offers a heated rooftop pool and air-conditioned rooms with a furnished balcony. Guests can relax on the spacious sun terrace. We spent 5 nights on a return trip to this wonderful hotel because we love its location, cleanliness, helpful staff, and hotel amenities. They serve a wonderful breakfast with eggs cooked to order. All the rooms have a balcony with a table and two chairs. We opted for a room with a harbor view as other rooms in the back of the hotel overlook the surrounding buildings and a bus parking lot. The hotel has a pool and terrace located on the top floor which we enjoyed. There is pay parking for 3 euros next door but there are two free parking spaces in front which we were lucky to be able to use. The train station is also within walking distance. We would recommend!

Great location for mature adults and children are well catered for with the fabulous beach and playgrounds.....we love Lagos because the nightlife is centered around dining out in wonderful restaurants and not the noisy nightclubs and boozy tourists that are the norm in the rest of the Algarve tourist areas. Having travelled all over the Algarve, we have found Lagos and all the friendly residents and restaurant/bar staff everywhere as our favourite holiday destination.
The apartment is over a busy road and can be noisy at "rush" hours. We find this interesting and does not bother us. We like to see folk going to work, the young folk on their way to the campsite and the train visitors. Lagos is a busy , slightly for older folk, place but has good links to other places and has a lot of interesting beaches and walks. We are vegetarians and don't eat out much. The apartment was good for cooking. Vegetarian options for eating out are getting better but are still not brilliant.
Lagos is a lovely old town; we’ve been going there for over 30 years and stayed in a load of different places. As well as being a resort it’s also a working town with real people living in the streets and going about their business. It also has a lovely cosmopolitan and diverse feel about it with all ages and nationalities and lovely restaurants and back streets and shops to browse with a lovely promenade by the sea and the marina.
Was an excellent choice for a few days break. Went on boat trip to see the caves and the shoreline from the sea. That was exciting as the boat driver skilfully timed his entry and exit through the caves. Enjoyed strolling through the streets of Lagos. Unfortunately the slave history museum was closed. Was under renovation. Had a few really nice meals. Looking forward to returning when the weather is warmer.
We dined in several restaurants - all very good, local fish, sushi, and others with a full range of meat and fish. Taxis, buses etc. are good and accessible. Walking around or along the seafront is comfortable and pleasant. The new museum is definitely worth a visit.
Lagos has few of the best beaches I have ever seen. Both the beaches and the water were clean and the cliffs surrounding the beaches beautiful. The old town was cute and had many good restaurants and cafes. And also a lot of nightlife during the weekend. In short the city was very lively and in my opinion had something to offer for everyone (a lot of surf and skate shops, clothing stores, few historical buildings, all sorts of restaurants etc.).
Our room was very spacious. The poll was great it was almost 3 meters deep - nowadays you do not have such pools in hotels. The hotel had access to normal gym where members were training - the gym was very well equipped. Hotel was located close to the old town where you can find a lot of nice restaurants. However the best beach is on the other side of the town. Parking is outside the hotel and very cheap. Receptionists were very helpful.
Lagos
great knowledgeable staff. plenty of info on hikes, bus schedules, always ready to help very good filling breakfast: coffee, juice, cake, ham, cheese, cereals, fruit, veggie, milk plenty of spacious comfy common areas excellent for solo travelers. easy to meet people from teens to 60s. very relaxed vibe comfortable bed right in center clean ceiling fan kept room comfortable Lagos is nice but the hostel will be one of your best memories
Lagos
We loved everything about this accommodation. We had the top floor with the sweetest balcony and Seaview. An excellent Breakfast served daily to our room, awesome staff, perfect location (and next door to a fantastic Italian top floor patio restaurant). We were here 4 nights and the beautifully designed property seemed almost private. We highly recommend this and if we return to Lagos we will most certainly stay here.
Lagos
the rooms and balconies are beautiful and huge The service is excellent and breakfast is the best I’ve seen in Portugal Very quiet and the pool is very beautiful You can walk to the nearby beach or ponta pieadade in minutes don’t miss either of these natural wonders Maybe one of the best hotels I have stayed at in 36 years of international travel Thank you Cascade management and staff
The hotel and rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. The location is ideal if you’re planning to spend your time on the beach. The balconies are a nice touch so guests can take in the oceans views or spend some time in loungers on their private patios. It’s a 20 min walk up or down hill to get to Old Town or a cheap taxi ride ranging from €3-6.
The large room with kitchenette was excellent as we were able to buy food and some great inexpensive Portugal wines on our own nearby. The location near the beach was perfect for morning and evening walks, as well as sunbathing. We ate breakfast the last morning in the hotel and it was excellent, as well. I would definitely return.
The hotel personal is super helpful and kind, the rooms are clean (and cleaned every day). There are multiple sorts of food for breakfast. The hotel is outside of the center so it's calm there. It takes around 25 minutes of walk to get to the center of Lagos or by taxi just a few minutes.
I loved this place inside of the old city of Lagos! the apartment is located on the top floor and has common excess to the roof. Two balconies give a beautiful view on the old city and its roofs. Very clean! Moderate design! There were everything the guest might need! I would come back!
This hotel is definitely a relaxing oasis in the middle of Lagos. The staff is very friendly and helpful with directions. The restaurant has amazing food and cocktails. It’s one of the more expensive places to stay and eat but if you really want to pamper yourself this place is a must.
Spread out building - interesting areas within hotel to explore. Comfortable beds, good pillows, good staff, easy to get to town, marina and beaches, good pool and surroundings to relax. Staff are definitely trying to do their best despite the current Covid situation - well done!
Lagos
Joao was one of the best host’s we’ve had. He was always there to help, the breakfast was better than a 5 star hotel and he helped to book tours. He had always a smile on his face and made this one of the best stays we’ve had , even better than 5 star hotels
The Hotel Marina Rio is in a great position opposite Lagos Marina and has a modern spotlessly keen interior. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. I am sure we will return to Lagos and when we do, we will use this hotel again.
Lagos
I like the concept. Aces with codes, no check-in procedures. Hotel in residential area, 10min by foot to Lagos center. Nice house with garden. Breakfast on terrasse with sea view. Friendly staff. Good and cheap laundry service
The hotel is located in central historic area of Lagos, what is good for walking around and getting to know the amazing pubs and restaurants available there. The staff is very kind and willing tô help..
We have had the best time at Dom Manuel and Lagos in general. Thank you to the wonderful staff who made our trip even better. The hotel itself is exceptional Thank you ❤️❤️
Lagos
I love the people. They make you feel so welcome. The facility is beautiful and it’s like staying at a nice hotel! The rooftop is amazing. I just loved it
Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, the best hotel breakfast we've ever had.
The place is just wonderful. Beautiful houses places in a unique complex. Both Inside and Outside- it has just one name- LUX. Excellent service from the reception. Fantastic garden and a nice outdoor swimming pool. Lagos is also a charming small touristic city, 5 min. away with the car. Our whole experience is WOW 😊. Value for money does exceed 2 times the price paid!!! Next time we’ll come back for a full 14 days vacation, as this time we’ve spent only 2 days, as part of our Portugal journey.
The facilities are good for families
Lagos
Very kind and spontaneous host.
