Rosa Biscoito Suites offers accommodations in Luso. Rooms have a flat-screen TV. Some units have a seating area to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. Beautiful, clean, spacious, delightful staff. Coffee supplied, beautiful linen, comfortable bed. We had a suite and connected room for our friend . Beautiful fully restored heritage building, loved it!
Featuring mountain views, Cantinho, Alojamento Local offers accommodations with a salt-water outdoor swimming pool, and a garden, around 656 feet from Malo Clinic Spa Luso. The owner was very helpful before we arrived, and when we needed anything during the stay. She had left fresh water in the fridge for us, and also offered us fruit from the garden and home-produced wine during our stay. Cantinho has fantastic views towards Luso. The private terrace and small pool were very nice when it was warm. The location was close to the town centre (5 minutes down the hill) and to the termas. We enjoyed staying in Luso and there was lots to do in the region.
On average, 3-star hotels in Luso cost $60 per night, and 4-star hotels in Luso are $121 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Luso can be found for $195 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
Luso and the surrounding area are beautiful. We enjoyed our overnight visit. We had dinner in Mealhada, enjoying the local specialty, leitao. We stayed at the Bussaco Palace Hotel which is in a beautiful location but in need of an update.
May is off season, so some shops and restaurants were not open. But there was plenty to see and do in town. And we made easy day trips to Coimbra and Porto. We did not take advantage of the famous Luso Thermal Spa, but certainly will do that on our next trip.
We came to hike in the forest and to relax in the spa but the spa was uninviting and expensive. We had lovely stay in our historic hotel and we enjoyed the local cuisine and wine. Luso is the home of a famous spring and we amazed at all the people that came to fill their water bottles.
Luso is mostly an old-fashioned spa, with the adjoining Bussaco woods park, and clearly in need of some modernization and additional investment to attract tourists. Try Lourenço’s for a good meal.
You can experience a special stay which is far from our daily life. Good place for hiking to catch some insects with children. If you feel thirsty, feel free to go to the water spring to drink as much as possible.
A balcolny overlooking Luzon close to palace Santa Cruz and the national park. Lots eatery in town food was very good with wide variety, as we were out of season the hotel restaurant was closed. Not far from coimbra where there was Roman ruins and the Roman interactive museum. Also the model village theme park in coimbra was very entertaining.
The hotel had some fun activities for kids, but also for grown-ups. The Olympic pool was awesome. One of the diving boards (the lowest) was out of order, but a couple of days later it was fixed. The curtains on the room blocked the light perfectly. The rooms were renovated (as is the hotel itself) and the bathroom was very big.
Nice location close to the forest & town. Room was recently renovated. Bathroom was really modern & nice. The hotel is historic so it was nice to see modern features. Breakfast was an extra 5 euro but nice - eggs, bacon, breads, cheeses, meat & fruit.
The hotel has some features of an old villa, which were kept quite nicely. The decoration and furniture are like falling back in a time hole. The owner was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is very unique, in the middle of the forest.
You can touch a history and family spirit in the hotel. Very good breakfast, clean rooms, welcoming staff. Excellent view on Luso from the hotel tower.
Staying at this hotel and exploring the Forrest was a highlight of our road trip around Portugal
Nice, cozy small hotel. The room was simple, but clean and comfortable. The owner was very nice.
Very nice Hotel. I recommend it, and I would go back
