Beautiful setting. We just loved the location and the house was decorated with lovely old furniture. Just us and some sheep :-). Access to the river to swim right in front of the house and wonderful clear starry skies. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped . Good WiFi. The owner is great with communication, and generous. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to those who like to 'get off the beaten track'.

    Passagem do Sol is a very welcoming place to stay . Lovely town, we walked a lot, nice parks, friendly people, nice places to eat especially O barranquenho. Ideal town for exploring and for a trip to Alqueva dam.

    The hotel is beautiful, and filled with old style charm. The room was well appointed, very spacious and comfortable. The huge bed was divine. The central location is ideal for walking a short distance into the old town. The private car park is a great bonus. The staff were very polite, professional and helpful.

    The pool was great! The decoration of the common areas of the hotel is nice. The staff were attentive and the breakfast selection was quite nice too. The room was big and the bathroom too.
