This is heaven on earth! We have travelled 7 of the Azores so far and have rarely felt that much at home. Roberto is such a nice host and his warm welcome was very kind! We would not have wanted to stay anywhere else - the jacuzzi after a long day’s hike, the view onto the bay, the mountains and the ocean plus the sound of the „cagarros“ at night made us feel like being in paradise! Thank you for even getting up so early on a Sunday morning to help us with the suitcase! We would love to come back soon again - for a longer period of time.

Casa do Norte is a fantastic find! Even late in the season, we enjoyed great hikes and took in the beautiful surroundings of Santa Maria. The mix of hiking trails, ocean views and days at the beach made for a refreshing experience. The cozy interiors added to the charm of our stay. Thanks for providing such a welcoming place—we had a great time and look forward to returning!
