so glad we decided to stay in this hotel! the staff were all so kind and welcoming. we were visiting during the quiet season i think, because there were hardly any other tourists at our hotel, which i personally enjoyed! the room was large with amazing views of the city. check in process was easy, breakfast was good, and the location overlooks the town on the top of the hill and is a 1-2 minute drive down the hill, so very convenient!

Very comfortable and cute little house in the middle of Piodao. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The beds are comfortable and the area very quiet for a nice sleep. The house was very clean and smelling fresh when we arrived. Nice hikes and restaurants around the area. Lots of stairs to get to the house so keep that in mind if someone in your party is physically challenged. Will definitely stay again!

The atmosphere is great! You live almost in the wildness, in a megical village surounded by wonder view!!! The upper part of the house where the pleasent bathroom and bedrooms are located-has AirC that keeps these rooms warm! Great sleep! The owner helped us with bed linens...Thank you!

We must have stayed in just part of the house as we only had 2 small bedrooms (the listing for this accomm now says it is 4 bedrooms). If you come in Summer and can make use of the balcony and outdoor relaxation area at the side of the house this would make a fabulous retreat. The views are amazing as the accommodation is in the middle of the mountains and the kitchen is amazingly well equipped.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is the only hotel we stay at when we drive through this area. This is such an upscale boutique hotel at an extremely reasonable cost, in a quiet, scenic river setting. The rooms and beds are comfortable and 5 star. We love that even as upscale as this hotel is, they are dog friendly! The balconies are beautiful..I highly recommend the deluxe balcony. The breakfast is amazing, fresh fruits, fresh orange juice, delicious homebaked pastries. The best part of the hotel is the staff. The personal attention they give the guests is another main reason why we keep coming back.

Our host was kind and generous with her time answering our many questions. She bakes the most delicious cakes and serves a wonderful cup of coffee in a charming old world setting. The location is isolated, yet shouldn't be missed. Just enough choices of eateries in the town square.

I liked Inatel Piódão for the room and common spaces, including a covered swimming pool. I also liked the possibilities of having meals at Inatel. Moreover, it is a very quiet place and close to the historical village of Piódão.

Wonderful accommodation in the heart of this cute little village. The converted schist house has all the modern conveniences and a cosy atmosphere, in a beautiful setting. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the local host who popped in with it also runs the Solar dos Pachecos restaurant, which I can recommend for local cuisine. I hope the landscape and Piódão tourism start to recover after the devastating wildfires this year.

breakfast was nice, many choices the place is exeptional the small village Piodao is something really worth seeing The hotel is beutiful, little retro - style (the bathroom and the pool) but comfortable, very nice design the prices very reasonable for family the staff very helpful we can recommend it it was great stay I think it's the best option to stay in Piodao

Casa da Padaria is the perfect place to stay in the charismatic village of Piodão. On a day of heavy rain, Casa da Padaria was the perfect refugee, giving us a very comfortable night and waking up with a beautiful view. The room is very comfortable, the host is extremely nice, and the breakfast is superb. Highly recommended!

Absolutely a gem of a small comfortable hotel in a very special place. Wonderful scenery, views from our window were beautiful. Our host was more than accommodating. Wonderful breakfast. Beyond expectations. A visit to Piodao is spectacular in itself and adding a night at the Casa da Padaria just made our trip so memorable.

This hotel has a big swimming pool. It is placed in a beautiful location. Above the village of Piodao. The staff are very friendly and always ask if you need anything. Very comfortable seating. Alot of choice for breakfast and the dinner buffet has also got good choice in food.
