This is my second stay at Nine Dots Art Boutique Hotel on São Miguel, Azores, and once again it has exceeded all my expectations. Whether visiting in summer or winter, the service here is truly exceptional. The rooms are spotless and immaculately maintained, thanks to an enthusiastic and genuinely friendly housekeeping team who take care of everything on a daily basis. The rooms are fully equipped with all modern comforts, and no request ever feels like too much trouble. As an avid hiker, I find Nine Dots to be perfectly located in the heart of Ponta Delgada, with many sights and attractions within easy walking distance. Taxis and public transport are also conveniently located just around the corner. The hotel features a wonderful spa area where you can relax at any time of day, whether in the sauna, the pool, or by enjoying a delightful massage. It’s also possible to use the hotel’s bicycles to explore the city on a sunny day, which is a lovely added touch. The restaurant offers an extensive menu, but the stylish bar is equally perfect for smaller dishes or a well-crafted cocktail. The entire interior is beautifully designed — stylish, elegant, and luxurious — making you feel completely pampered throughout your stay. I will most certainly return to this breathtaking island, and when I do, I will absolutely choose Nine Dots Art Boutique Hotel again. A truly outstanding hotel and a wholehearted recommendation!

Caloura Hotel is great! The property is very well maintained with a beautiful garden and pool area, many hidden places to sit and chill with a book, paths to the stony beach, beautiful green lawn. We stayed for a couple of days to cover the East side of the island, somehow it was always sunny in the Caloura Hotel, even when it was raining everywhere else. Room was spacious and comfortable and ours was facing the cliff in the West. Staff was incredibly helpful, they sent our postcards and printed our boarding passes with no issues. Stay totally worth the price.
