The location was amazing! The Hotel is right by the sea and all the bedrooms and common areas are built to enjoy the view. The bar, the breakfast room and the pool let you enjoy Pico all day long. Each room has an individual balcony so you can enjoy the sunset! The staff is always very helpful and kind! And you can have crepe with Nutella for breakfast!

We were happy with our room and the service provided. The room was very clean, cleaning incl. changing towels took part every day. There is a shared kitchen where you can have a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy beautiful view from the terrace. The owner is a very kind lady, she gave us many useful recommendations for beautiful places to visit. The service was in overall excellent. If we ever return to Sao Jorge, then definitely to this guesthouse. The location is perfect for hikes or as a starting point for day trips, everything is quite close. The town itself has a supermarket and a plethora of cafés and restaurants to choose from.

We had the apartment in the basement, which was very quiet and had superb view on the Pico. The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed - hot shower and comfy bed - and a parking space was always available directly in front of the house. The hosts are the most amazing and nice people, we arrived late by ferry and they picked us up so we can get some groceries done before everything shut down for the Christmas holidays - thank you for the kind hospitality!

I was blown away by the incredible location and breathtaking scenery. The property is stunning, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens, and the thoughtful welcome basket was a lovely touch. Any contact with the owner was very easy, and the owner was always very kind and helpful. Even before our arrival, the owner sent us valuable information on excursions, restaurants, and beaches. We were able to retrieve the key ourselves from a key safe, so we weren't tied to a specific arrival time. Upon our arrival, there was even a small snack prepared for us. During our stay, our written questions were answered very quickly, and when we needed something in the house, someone came by within fifteen minutes to organize and take care of it. The house was very clean, and we found everything we needed for our daily needs. The house is located a bit outside the village, making it a very quiet location. My fear that we might hear the airport was completely unfounded. We could even hear the strange calls of the Cagarros directly from the house—and we almost died laughing on the first evening! In the late afternoons we could sit on the terrace and had a wonderful view of the sea and of "Ilha do Pico".
