We loved our stay at Octant - the facilities are brilliant and we also enjoyed massages on the day we arrived. The staff are extremely friendly and made the stay very enjoyable. We ate at the restaurant 2 nights and the food was lovely - particularly the Wreck fish and the Beef Cheeks. Our stay at Octant was the perfect end to our trip to the Azores.

Such a wonderful hotel, with wonderful staff and a wonderful view over a wondeful little town!!! We came to stay 2 days and here I am on Day 6 writing a review! The hotel is really cool and has everything you need for such a good price. The room is really comfortable with a massive bed and a balcony you can just spend hours on in the sun (when it shines) admiring the view, or even watching the rain is quite relaxing. Breakfast is a huge buffet of everything you could need with coffee machines and orange juice as well. Best of all is the staff. Tania on the front desk is simply a bunde of joy and will enthusiastically give you all the info you need about the island. All the rest of the staff say hello to you as well... I can't recommend this place highly enough.

What an amazing place to stay in São Miguel. We spent 1 night here and this was our most favourite stay out of all the places we stayed at in São Miguel island. Although we planned to explore nearby attractions from this location, we decided to spend the whole time in this apartment and in this small village instead. If you rent a car, this place would be perfect to stay while exploring the island. The host was very friendly and was available to greet us in person and share some valuable information with us on things to do and places to eat in the village. We had one of our best dinners in Açores in the restaurant right below on the seaside from this property. It was a great recommendation by the host and we were so happy that we cancelled our dinner reservation in a nearby town to go here instead. Get the prawns and catch of the day! We had a sublime view from the balcony as displayed in the property's images. It was nice watching the sunset and sunrise from here. The apartment is spacious and had all the necessary amenities. We would love to return to this place one day. This place gets booked really fast so hurry!

This was probably the best place I have ever stayed at. It has everything you need. It's clean, the hosts communicated exceptionally well. It has some modern features but still has classical elements to the house. The hot tub was a bonus. My family couldn't be happier!
