The neighborhood was quiet. The fruit trees and lilacs were so pretty and made us feel at home. It was easy to get to town. All the rooms were clean and well kept. The patio was a nice place to relax at the end of the day. Francesco, our host, was great. He even took time to find information about some events we asked about and recommended several restaurants and marked them on a map.

This house is AMAZING! The photos truly do not do it justice. The house is located on a quiet fenced country estate, with a variety of housing options. This particular unit shares an incredibly beautiful courtyard, with comfortable furniture and a beautiful fountain / (wading pool?) with one other unit, but feels quite private. The house itself is quite large and beautifully decorated with artwork and historic artifacts. The place is modern, clean, and comfortable. We were actually quite disappointed that our schedule only allowed us to stay one night on this visit, as the home was quite simply wonderful.

The Centro historico was fun and exciting to explore.

The Centro historico was fun and exciting to explore. It is very compact with lots of churches. The Jardim do Sol were very pleasant. Very walkable place once you get to the top. All the normal grocery stores available. Try the Pampillos, very good local confectionary. We particularly liked Cafe Bijou.

The room with the stunning panoramic view was clean and comfortable. The food downstairs was very good and reasonably priced. Parking was easy and accessible. The center of town was a good 25 minute walk so we drove and parked in the central underground parking lot. Easy. Nice shops and the Porto del Sol is a beautiful park with another stunning view.

I visited the Golegã Fair and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend it. I also recommend looking for accommodation in Golegã to enjoy the fair's nightlife, which is worthwhile. I also recommend a visit to the Carlos Relvas House-Studio. A wonderful visit to what was once considered the best photography house-studio in the world.

We really liked Santarém. It has good playgrounds.

We really liked Santarém. It has good playgrounds. We loved the Aqui Há Gato bookstore. We loved eating at the Tascá restaurant. But our favorite was Terra Bio in the Jardim da República, incredible flavors. We were disappointed with the market, very beautiful on the outside, with the tiles, but the space inside is very poorly used.

For me, the Gothic Capital is the jewel in the crown of the Ribatejo region's geographical and cultural landscape. I recommend visiting Santarém, as well as Almeirim and Alpiarça. I hope to have the opportunity to visit Rio Maior and Ribeira de Asseca soon.

I've not stayed in many hostels and I did stay in a private room but I thought that Villa Graca had much more of a feel of an upscale hotel than a hostel. The room was large and clean with a lovely view to the Graca church, staff were very friendly and helpful and it was nice to have a small common area to sit after check out whilst I was waiting for my bus. Breakfast was delivered in the morning in a nice little basket and they even made an effort to get it to me early so I could leave on the Camino. Thank you for a nice stay!

I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for one night and the first thing we witnessed were the kindness and professionalism of the staff, breakfast was also really appreciated (the pancake machine was top!). Price was competitive.
