It was the best hotel experience I have ever had! The room was modern and stylish, our windows looked at the farm, and we could see the donkeys from our place. The hotel exceeded our expectations: we had a more comfortable room than we ordered and a lavish bath! The hotel is dog friendly: dogs can come to the main building, walk the whole territory, lay over the tables during breakfast, and so on. It was amazing! The hotel owner (Pedro) invited us to have a dinner cooked by an ex-Michelin chef, and it was the best dinner I had had in Portugal! It was delicious! I'm more than 100% sure that we will come to this place many times in the future

We stayed here for a few times in a row now and everytime it feels more at home. There is a warm welcome everytime when we arrive. The host is very flexible to arrange things according to our wishes. The cottage has a nice feeling and is comfortable, attention was paid to details and atmosphere.

The region has some beautiful coastal locations (both cliffs and beaches) and excellent restaurants and Portugese Tavernas will satisfy culinary travellers (tapas, roasted chicken and fresh fish). For young couples it is a very romantic place to visit and walk around the typical Portugese villages, enjoy the views and preferably enjoy a pool or beach.

We stayed at Quinta da Paradiso, 5 mins from Sao Teotonio. I wouldnt stay in Sao T itself, but it is a good service town with a large international style supermarket. There are many gorgeous beaches and little seaside villages with 10 min drive to Sao Teotonio.

From $96 per nightWe had such a welcoming greeting from the staff and the best breakfast in Portugal so far. The rooms are decorated colorful and with love for details that we wanted to spontaneously extended our stay but it was already fully booked. I can certainly recommend a stay here if you want enjoy the countryside and are looking for a good location to start your trails. They also offer picnic for takeaway. Breakfast was super yummy as they offered local food such as really good bread and cheese. We will certainly come for another visit.
