The property is on a stunning location next to the ocean, with everything you could possibly need. Including a restaurant with fabulous staff and wonderful food. The animals in their enclosures around the property are so well taken care of and a joy to visit and photograph! We didn’t take advantage of the pool as December is a bit too cold for us, but it is beautiful and quite large. The paddle tennis courts also look to be in excellent condition and having rackets and balls to borrow is a huge plus.

Rafael was a very agreeable and interesting host. We had dinner and the food and wine were exceptional. The quality of the food was higher than any restaurant we’ve experienced so far in Portugal (we’ve been here 3 weeks, 1 was in Lisbon; in general not our first rodeo). Likewise for the breakfast.
