Absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming Hasshaimer family took exceptional care of us, ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. Our spacious room/apartment featured a small kitchen, a cozy seating and dining area, and a lovely bathroom with a shower that I never wanted to leave. Encontro No Rio is nestled along the picturesque River Mondego, offering an idyllic and serene environment that was exactly what we needed after a hectic week. The tranquility of the location is truly breathtaking, making it perfect for relaxing by the pool. Breakfast was delicious and conveniently served at a time to suit us. Unfortunately, we could only stay for two days, but there were plenty of activities available, including kayaking, horseback riding, and hiking. A heartfelt thank you to the Hasshaimer family for your exceptional hospitality. We can't wait to return for a longer stay and wish you every success, you most definitely deserve it.

Faultless! Ellen and Huub are the perfect hosts. Friendly, welcoming and just lovely people. Beautiful, calm location. Nice pool and pool area, very private as they only have 2 rooms for rent so you are practically guaranteed peace & quiet. Great value for money. Perfect weekend getaway. We were so happy that we extended our stay. I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone. I would give 11/10 if I could! It's one of those 'arrive as guests, leave as friends' places. 😊🙏
