Located in Porto Santo, this hotel is on a sandy beach. It has an infinity edge pool with views of the Atlantic Ocean, and offers air-conditioned accommodations. The villa was beyond what I expected in beauty and tranquility. Chirping birds and the sea is all I heard. Very comfortable and relaxing - my own little oasis! Plus spa was right next door which I used often!

Very nice little island, perfect to relax for 4-7 days as beach holiday "pre-course" for a Madeira hiking/action holiday. Not as green as Madeira, but has beautiful beaches & views, also some nice hikes.
Not like Madeira - easy, peaceful, rather flat desert island. You can spend time in the beach, "climb" one of 3 "mountains", walk along hiking trails for nice views, go kayaking, visit sand dunes (unlike any other dunes I've seen). With a car you can visit most of the spots in 2 days, without a car - a week is more than enough.
Fantastic walks with amazing views. Long beach with light sand and warm waters. Nice small town where one can find everything needed. One can walk from one side of the island to the other in one day! Taxi service works all over the island, so it is not needed to rent a car to move around. There are many food options from eating at home to nice restaurants.
We were staying in Funchal and it was great to get over to Porto Santos for a couple of days. We got the ferry over, the ferry only runs once a day - early morning out and late evening back, so plenty of time to explore if you are just going for the day. We went overnight, which was just right for us, and stayed in the very lovely 16 Porto Santos apartments. The beaches were lovely, and not busy at all. We went on the open top bus tour, which was a great way to see the island. Plenty of local restaurants and cafes to chose from. All in all, well recommended for a short break if you are holidaying in Funchal.
Porto Santo is a sleepy little beach town. Book REALLY early so you can stay in a small hotel and have dining options in the town. We stayed at an all inclusive on the beach, and while the beach was beautiful the food and atmosphere of the hotel was not good. We wished we had just done a day trip from Madeira- the ferry gets you there around 11am and leaves late at night. One day on the beautiful beach with a lunch in town would have been better. Madeira was amazing and a better place to stay.
We got the boat over from Madeira on Wednesday at 8am and left on Thursday at 10:30pm. We only stayed one night but it was enough. The beach is lovely, if you get good weather then it feels like paradise. We hired a scooter for 24 hours and went around the whole island. We managed to do two hikes, and see both natural pools. The roads are good and very quiet so it's great for non-confident drivers.

Nice mornings beach viewings. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with a glorious balcony. Spa and pool area was closed due covid-19 safety measures. Breakfast was superb with lots food options. Staffs are very friendly and happy, always helpful. We asked for later check out and ding dong, we got it! free of charge. Also, right next the hotel you will find a great bar/ restaurant called “João do Cabeço” that serve delicious local Portuguese food and a wee supermarket for little things.
Porto Santo
The hosts were very sweet, friendly and helpful. The apartment was perfect for a couple and the view was out of this world. We spent hours on the beautiful balcony and had relaxing evenings with netflix in front on the view. We were also able to borrow the scooter free of charge, which helped us a lot getting around the island and to the house. That was a major plus. Would really recommend renting this apartment!
Ancient building but very well maintained. Beautiful garden with palm trees and direct access to the beach. Superior room has a cozy bed, a sheltered balcony and enough outlets (incl. two USB sockets). Overall a very peaceful Hotel with plenty of areas to relax. The hotel staff had managed an earlier check-in, which is a big plus but exception. Breakfast was ok.
Porto Santo
Location is a bit far from the main town, but I see that as an advantage - very quiet, beach is uncrowded, peaceful experience, kayaking or hiking trails on that side of the island are very close. The home itself has everything needed for a longer stay, also nicely decorated with paintings and ship models.
Porto Santo
location is perfect, close to restaurants, beach and supermarket. We really enjoyed the outside and the hammock. after a couple of hotels it was nice to have our “own” place and cook a simple dinner and breakfast. We arrived at 10.30pm and it was no problem for Carla to meet. Superfriendly.
Porto Santo
Overall the apartment had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bathroom was clean and tidy. The owners welcomed us with madeira wine and a tipical madeira cake. They also let us check out late because our ferry back to funchal was at 6pm.
Porto Santo
Already know quite well Porto Santo and I can say the location is just perfect. 5-10min walk from city center and 1-2min walk from the beach (just on the other side of the road) Its a small but cosy place and ideal for some days at this lovely island.
Breakfast was decent, very basic, rolls, bread, cereal, meat & cheese, no eggs, pancakes, or waffles. Location on the other hand was amazing with excellent, friendly staff. The hotel was also spotless, very clean; you could eat off the floors!
Porto Santo
Everything: reception, facilities, comfort, location couldn't be better, away from town and hotels. On the beach and a great bike ride to everywhere. Local bus or beautiful walk for those without transport. Even the other guests were great people!
Porto Santo
Comfortable stylish place, kitchen and bathroom a bit basic but could stay for weeks. Great to have kitchen because restaurants and bars on Porto Santo are not very good and quite expensive. Close to beach with nice patio to relax on.
Porto Santo
Klaudia and Rafael's accomodation provide me an excellent holiday. The environment is breathtaking, the hotel is very good for value. This place is a perfect choice for having an unforgettable holiday. I'll be back soon.
The hotel i situated quite well, it takes only about 20 minutes to the center and a few minutes to the beach. I liked the breakfast, a nice lady from the cafe provided excellent gluten free baquets and other products for me.
Porto Santo
Great vacation retreat where you can find anything you might need: from a beach swing and mountain bikes to a bluetooth hifi. There is no better place to stay in Porto Santo, everything is top.
Otto Nemes was very kind and helpful at the reception and we got many beautiful suggestion as well for our car trip. Best people in the best hotel where we have stayed ever.
Porto Santo
Great location right near the ocean, good breakfast, unlimited coffee and a very hospitable stuff. We didn’t want to leave the hotel and would like to come back for sure😊
We stayed at the Hotel for two nights due to flight conversion. It was a good option and we liked it. Great stuff.
