Villa C Boutique Hotel is located on River Ave’s south bank, in Azurara. This 4-star property features a luxury spa and rooms with a balcony. Excellent service, 24 hour pool, very clean rooms, spa facilities are new and fancy. Late checkout available at 2pm - it was absolutely fantastic in my case.
Casa do Rio charm suites offers accommodations in Vila do Conde's center. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Certain rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. Great staff great breakfast, ideal location, local restaurants vibrant and wonderful menus.
Casa Mindela is a 150-year old property in Vila do Conde that has been refurbished, while still maintaining its original features. Helena and her staff were very helpful and went up and beyond to ensure We had a great stay during our stage of the Camino Portugués. Room and facilities well kept. Very comfortable bed and good breakfast.
This beautiful and charming hotel is harmoniously integrated into the surrounding natural landscape, offering comfortable, modern accommodations off the beaten track. The best hosts ever! Gorgeous place for a tranquil stay. We choose this beautiful place year after year and it gets better every time!
Located in Vila do Conde, Villa Amor Perfeito has self-catering accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The property has garden views and is 28 miles from Guimarães. This apt is in a converted garage tucked under the owners house. The 2 bedrooms do not have outside light. They each have a high, long, narrow, translucent window so if any lights are on the rooms have ambient light. The table seats 4 with 2 chairs and 2 stools and there is a small couch. There is a 2 burner hot plate, microwave and toaster oven. It was hard to find the apt. but the map on Booking was a real help. The hosts were really nice. They led us to the road to Arcos where we started the Camino the next day. The place was very clean and well stocked.
Good location, perfect connection to porto (easy comfortable metro)// on bike beautiful trail to proto, !!!!great sea-side trail!! the camino goes through this town, great walking trails, nice good restaurants, not too busy, good tourist info// close to discover north portugal nice people!
Nice bars and restaurants along the riverfront, many BBQing fresh fish to order. Food is very cheap, we averaged 30 euros for two mains and a bottle of wine. There is a market on Fridays if you are staying in an apartment its a good place to stock up. The metro only takes 40 minutes to Porto and costs 5euro40 for a return ticket. Getting the metro to and from the airport requires one change but this is super easy. The beach is beautiful and you can walk all the way to Pavoa do Varzim, the next town along (or get the metro) and it is lovely there too. A great base for exploring Northern Portugal, I would recommend this as a lovely and cheap seaside base for taking the metro into Porto and renting a car to go see some of the towns and cities around here - there is a lot to see and do.
The location is stunning, with a view to the ocean. The apartment is fully equipped and tastefully decorated. There is access to the rooftop that offers breathtaking views of the ocean, Vila do Conde and the surrounding areas. There is a garage available (with two bikes waiting for you). The host, Paulo, is very hospitable and a great person all around, always ready to help. Look no further for accommodation in Vila do Conde/Porto!
Small and comfortable hotel with a beautiful terrace. Extremely friendly staff even when we had to communicate with our hands because my Portuguese is rusty. Public underground parking nearby. Lots of lovely little restaurants and sights within walking distance. Short half an hour drive from Porto airport but significantly more peaceful. Right on the water, if you're interested in water sports.
Very cosy, stylish design hotel. Rooms are nice and comfortable, quite plain but with nice beds and bathrooms. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, with lots of choices. The most superb thing is dinner at restaurant - you should definitely try it. The atmosphere, the service, the interiors are just amazing!
The hotel is above a modern furniture shop run by same young team. In fact the room furniture has a price tag in case you want to buy it.The breakfast was unusual in that the 3 staff members bring things to your table like yogurt with muesli, pancakes or omelette.
The location is central and easy to find; the young lady owner was helpful and very friendly. The little tea house within the guesthouse offers snacks and home made cakes and cookies. The room has unique decorations - one of a kind furniture. Felt like home.
Nice, spotless clean spacious room with comfortable bed and balcony. Electric cattle with tea, coffee and bisquits helps to survive the lack of breakfast. The hotel is close to the main road but the windows stop all the noise. Very good value for the money
The hotel is very clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located outside the town centre and it takes about 7 to 10 minutes to walk to the restaurants by the river side.
Hotel Brazao was a great place to stay for the value, especially being a pilgrim. The bathroom was large, the room has AC, there was an elevator for luggage and breakfast was great! Camino pilgrims should consider staying here.
Excellent location. Lovely comfortable and spotless rooms. Good facilities, use of kitchen and pretty courtyard garden. A very enjoyable place to stay in Vila do Conde.
The house backyard brings the spirit of medieval Portugal, and is the real pearl of the facility
