The property was super clean, the staff were impeccable, they were courteous, friendly and super helpful. we flew to Santa Maria to visit the island, and celebrate my wife’s birthday. the hotel staff presented us with a birthday cake and a bottle of champagne. they decorated our room. they went over and above the call of duty! thank you everyone for all your hard work and your beautiful smiles! job well done! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Traveling with My 1 year old and arriving early, check in wasn’t for a decent amount of time but they were able to thankfully get Me a room ready within a hour and a half. Comes with breakfast. Has a bar and food available for lunch or dinner. There is a kids room which I enjoyed. Not far of a walk from the center and was nice to see the animals. Beautiful view from room!

Well I think I may have found the perfect hotel!! The room, food, decor, location, atmosphere, all spot on! but what really made this place great was the staff, all so kind and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a smile. We are a charity and couldn't have achieved our mission on Santa Maria without the help of the amazing Sophia, an absolute credit to Charming Blue, thank you so much from all the team and crew at The Maiden Factor. I can't wait to come back!!

Excellent hostel in the best place in Vila do Porto! Very clean, amazing friendly atmosphere, great WiFi, hot water, good breakfast. I love everything and will stay again on Santa Maria Island as well as on other islands!

The owner was a gentleman,he was waiting for us at the airport and drove us to the houses, ve stayed. The house, positioned in a very ambient and picturesque valley. Highly recommended

We have been picked up at the airport by Luis (host of the guest house) and we got immediatly an private island tour with a lot of interesting information. Afterward we were welcome as well by his wife Ana. Both of them were directly very very symphatic! They showed us the entire guest house and explained everthing to know. The guest house is one of the most clean and tidy accomodations I have seen, and I have seen a lot in my life! The entire house is very lovingly furnished with many details that I really appreciated. The location of the house is amazing! The terasse is huge with a pefecte view to the sea. It has an private access to a beach that is almost private. After three days we had to go to Covid quarantaine unfortunatly becaue of a potential contact. After been quarantained Ana and Luis served us with incredible good home made lunch every day (3-4 way courses!) and went shopping for us. Unfortunatly it was a buisness trip and no holiday, however Luis and Ana let us feel like being in holiday anyway. I don't know how to express this excellent guest house and the unbelivleble kindly hosts. Being here for holiday will be simply a pleasure! If I could vote 11 or 12 points I would do so! These two guys and the the accomodation surly deserve a better rating than 10! I will come for sure to this nice spot with my familiy again and I can only strongly recommend to everybod to visit Luis and Ana. We loved to stay here even or especially during our time in quarantaine on Santa Maria Island, Azores. 1000 Thanks to Luis and Ana See you soon for sure!

Beautiful location with magnificent views. In a quiet, relaxing area of Santa Maria. Property was spacious and had everything we needed. Our host was easy to contact and responded quickly to any of our inquiries. Highly recommend this wonderful place.
