Wonderful apartments, very friendly host helped us settle in even at 11:00 PM, met us with a comfortable bed, clean and tidy apartments, comfortable shower, loyal host, you can pay in euros, the rest is given in local currency in lei, I definitely recommend staying here

Having travelled extensively around the world, stayed in some exceptional hotels and resorts, and worked within luxury hospitality myself, I don’t say this lightly - that Rarău Retreat is genuinely one of the finest places I have ever stayed. As a solo Irish traveller living in the UAE, I was searching for somewhere to relax, reset, and prepare mentally and physically before a mountain ultra marathon. I couldn’t have chosen a better place. Every detail has been carefully considered. The accommodation is immaculate, the bedding is incredibly comfortable, the facilities are exceptional, and the hot tubs, sauna, and overall wellness experience create the perfect environment to unwind. Surrounded by the beauty of Bucovina, it truly feels like an escape from the world. The food deserves special recognition. Breakfast was outstanding every morning, and dinner was consistently of an exceptionally high standard. You can genuinely taste the quality and care that goes into every meal. What impressed me most, however, was the people. The hospitality shown by the owners and every member of staff was second to none. Everyone was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring guests have the best possible experience. Nothing ever felt forced, it was authentic hospitality at its very best. It’s rare to find somewhere that excels in every aspect, but Rarău Retreat genuinely does. It combines luxury, comfort, nature, wellness, and heartfelt hospitality in a way that leaves a lasting impression. I would recommend Rarău Retreat without hesitation to anyone visiting Bucovina. Whether you’re looking for adventure in the mountains, a peaceful wellness retreat, or simply somewhere to disconnect from the pace of everyday life, this place is truly special. I loved the location, surrounded by mountains and green meadows and trees, very quite. The Romanian traditional food was one of the best I had, the madam cook and the ladies from reception were very kind and nice, very hardworking and creating a wonderful energy there! The owner, Ms. Simona is a wonderful person.

Beautiful place, clean and comfortable bed, lovely staff and great food.

Great facilities, big rooms, lot of parking and outdoor facilities. Kitchen with all equipment, including electrical appliances. Very welcoming anf friendly hosts. We even had bysicles for riding around the area.
