It was a very good stay, the beds were big and we could rest in very good conditions. Clean, good facilities (you have a very big shared kitchen that is fully equiped, a big terrace, table tenis, playgroung for the kids, parking space) and a very nice host. The gate can be closed, so kids are safe from the main road. Good value for money, we will come again.

The cabin was very clean and smelled very good. We even got some surprises (even our little 😺) . The cabin is quite spacious and you have all you need to have fun and relax with your family. Books, games, we even had a pick-up with some vinyls (our favorite AC/DC), coffee and everything else. The courtyard seems very spacious but they seem to currently add more features for their guests so it is also in work. The town is also nice and chill so you can ride your bike around or just walk. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming.

We booked this place and couldn't of been happier.. A beautiful little town that is so quite. Our host was amazing and he was so accommodating. We had room inside to store our motorcycles..the place was stunning and like a farm stay but with great rooms full of modern touches but with old world charm. Everything was clean and our host was great fun to hang out with and learn about Romanian culture. we couldn't fault our stay and really got a chance to feel like a local. Highly recommend to anyone.

Povestea din Munti exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Anka was so very friendly and attentive to us. The room and common areas were more than clean - they were spotless. It was a pleasure to chat with her and I could tell that she has a lot of pride in her place, and it shows. The rooms were decorated very well and gardens were meticulously maintained. Also, since it was over 33 degrees during the day, the air conditioner was worked great and was very much appreciated. Other than that, the location of Povestea din Munti was perfect for what we had planned for our trip. I highly recommend staying here.

The place is away from the city, very quiet, near a small river. The owners are nice, they offered us beer and coffee upon arrival and the next day, in the morning. We recommend the place for a night or a longer stay.

Very cute cabanas. Small property with only 3 of them but also it is nice grill area with dining tables. Allowed dogs and territory has fence so you won’t worry about letting your furry friend free.

This is one amazing corner of heaven on Earth. Located on the famous Transfăgărășan hwy, at the bottom of the Carpathian mountains, this place is stunning. Amazing design, super clean, equipped with everything we needed and more, it helped create ever lasting memories. Sleep with the window open to hear the river flowing, see the full moon from the bed, smell the wood... Aaahh! If only we stayed longer! But we will come back one day, it's a must!

Place is amazing with a great view to Transfagarasan, 1h away from lake Balea, 40 mim away from Up side down house,same for Povestea Calendarului, verry queit place, great host, verry pleasent! It was a very good stay, the beds were big and we could rest in very good conditions. Clean, good facilities (you have a very big shared kitchen that is fully equiped, a big terrace, table tenis, playgroung for the kids, parking space) and a very nice host. The gate can be closed, so kids are safe from the main road. Good value for money, we will come again.

The village has everything - connected to natural gas for...

The village has everything - connected to natural gas for heating, water and public sewage system, cobbled streets, lots of flowers in front of every building, beautiful ruins of an old church with the only tourist information desk open and functioning even at 20.00 on a weekend night. Collection of expensive cars in parking near church - comparable only to what you would see in parking places of hip restaurants in Herastrau in Bucharest. Picturesque water mill nearby. Transfagarasan at 1.5km. Great place to start visiting all the fortified churches from Biertan, Viscri etc.

It was a surprise land to see and visit, never had a proper...

It was a surprise land to see and visit, never had a proper knowledge in what to expect, but I was more than pleased to bring my companion and our pets to the small, adorable town of Cirta. It was a good refreshing stop after a long and picturesque mountain passage.

Lovely village, very well organised - flowers in front of all houses, with the same pots and types of plants, public sewage network, central small park with a small river running through it. Very clean. There is a tourist info kiosk that was open until 20.00 on Saturday, and open again on Sunday - unlike in large cities where during public holidays info kiosks are closed (had this experience very recently in Timisoara - extremely disappointing, considering the status of European Capital of Culture). People are nice and helpful. Loved everything about our stay there.
