It's hard to translate into words the sound of an authentic village, the fresh air of the forest behind the house, the kindness of the people and the overall tranquility of the place. Nice, quiet location.Nice indoor pool. Room was comfortable, restaurant outstanding. Staff very helpful. We lost the car plate in the parking lot and they were kind to send it home. Thank you for a nice stay!

I loved staying at Pensiunea Valurile Bistritei! The entire place is lovely with a river by it. It's a beautiful place to spend a few days to relax away from the noise of the city or very touristy areas. There is a restaurant which is really good. I had the best breakfast in a while. If you are doing Via Transilvanica, be aware that it's about 10km in the opposite direction. However, it's a beautiful walk accompanied by the river. If you don't want to walk, you contact the owner and see if you can be picked up.
