The hotel is located about 15 minutes walk from the city center. The rooms were clean and modern. Air conditioning worked properly. The staff have been super friendly and helpful. Pepe was absolutely above and beyond, his sense of humor and friendly attitude made our stay easy. We forgot one item in the room after the checkout and just noticed later in the evening. The hotel kept it for us, and we managed to arrange a pick up.

I have stayed there between 13th and 16th of January 2025. I liked the location, close to Bistrita and to many other tourist attractions that are in the area( Colibita Lake, Sangeorz-Bai, Etc.). The rooms and bathrooms are really clean. The staff is very friendly and eager to help or answer all of your questions. There is parking available in front of the Hotel and if that is full you have plenty of parking spaces next to the hotel in a dedicated area. The food was good, we have arrived hungry and the staff was able to provide us with healthy and tasty food, for which we are deeply grateful. The breakfast was also good with plenty of food to choose from. All in all I really enjoyed my stay at Hoterl Poarta Transilvaniei, I will stay there in the future if the need arises and I will recommend it to other friends and family.

The staff was extremely helpful, welcoming and hospitable. Our kids (aged 4 and 2 at the time) got a bed of their own and the staff was very friendly towards them and us (the parents). We had been travelling for a long while and needed to do some laundry. The laundry was clean and dry within an hour or two in the morning, right after we made the request. Everything was efficient, reasonably priced, and excellent in every way!
