It has all the things you need in a home, spacious, private, and quiet.The owner is quick to respond and accommodating though I never met her but my brother-in law and nephew did.

Everything was perfect :) Great location with peace and quiet. The house is like a live museum full of tradition. The hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was very rich. It is a perfect place both for short and long stays.

Very clean and well maintained, friendly staff and the host helped us with every request even if it was totally unrelated to the services they offered, went above and beyond to help us.

This place was surprisingly nice for being off the beaten path like it is. We spent two wonderful weeks in Romania. The stop at Hotel Nicolas was on our way from Bucovina toward the Sibiu area. I was looking on Booking.com for a good place to stay and this one popped up. It is about 30 minutes from Turda and the salt mines so it may attract visitors from there. We felt very lucky to find such a nice place in what seemed to be off the beaten track. We got lucky. I don't think they have many American visitors either. Maybe all visitors are treated like we were, but they made us feel very special. We did eat supper there. I had chocolate pancakes and my husband had a burger. It was delicious. Nicolas, himself, came to visit and brought along some delicious treats too. And I know he was disappointed to find out we don't drink alcohol because he wanted to treat us to some of his father's homemade brew. Breakfast was also included. I believe my husband had an English breakfast. I saw oatmeal on the menu and decided to go with that. I didn't think it would probably be enough for me. I love breakfast, but this was unique and delicious. It was served in a large goblet. I'm not sure it had any milk in it, but maybe honey and walnuts and not soggy at all. I wish I knew the recipe and had taken a picture of it. It was an excellent and interesting stop on our trip and I'm very glad we found it. There was also fruit, water, coffee and tea available in the room. Sorry the picture of the room was taken after we had already made ourselves comfortable. It was also VERY reasonably priced!!

Very warm greeting from host. Room is extremely clean . We had everything we needed with my 1 year old. She had a clean comfy baby cot as well. Even tho the airport is right next to us, the room was very quiet. Shuttle to airport was organised at 3am . Definitely coming back! ThankYou !

Close to the airport (3km) , nice owners,good location, clean and the coffee in the morning 😊it’s so good !
