This place is tucked away so you feel like you're in the woods, but within walking distance to town. The owner was super friendly and clearly wanted to make our stay nice. She gave us great restaurant suggestions and was ready in the morning with coffee and tea.

The backyard offered wonderful views (surrounded by trees, lots of flowers, and green grass). The stunning nightsky in Horezu, as seen from the yard, was absolutely breathtaking. The host, Dana, was extremely nice and friendly, and the free morning coffee served on the room's private bench on the porch was a really nice surprise. Definitely recommend it.

The property is in a great area, very close to Transalpina road, in a small quiet town of Maldaresti. Everything is great, from the huge garden with a fire pit, a cute gazebo and freshly cut grass, where you can relax, to the very spacious rooms that are spotless clean and very nicely decorated in an italian style. The host is extremely friendly and welcoming. We got offered free water and breakfast even though it is not mentioned in the booking. She gave us great recommendations for visiting the local markets and farms, and told us about the history of the town and surroundings. I can't recommend this enough, if you are visiting the area of just passing by i would definitely recommend you stop by.

A big village, located into a large valley of Buila...

A big village, located into a large valley of Buila Vanturarița mountains. The communist polluting industrial places are closed, but the area still lacks a clear administrative vision to use and multiply the extraordinary and beautiful natural/ green & historical resources. Even so, you can find a lot of interesting things to do - open air activities mainly.
