Complex La Tunuri - Vila Economat is the former Royal Guard Office of Peles Castle, located on the Royal Domain directly opposite the castle and just 328 feet from Pelisor Castle.
As everyone else says, the best place to stay when visiting the Castles Peles and Pelisor. View from the room was great, but someone built some trees in the way, so only a partial view of Castle Peles from the room. Was led astray by my GPS, so set your Navigation to Hotel Marami, and then continue straight down the hill from there.

Boga Rooms, Hotel Pestera, and Hotel Foisorul cu Flori got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Sinaia.
Sinaia looks great these days - the pavement, the buildings in the old centre, all the infrastructure, in general, have been reconditioned, renewed. It has a beautiful park, good restaurants, interesting places to visit, like Peleș Castle etc. You can go hiking on the trails surrounding the resort, you can take the cable cabin up the mountains if you're not that young anymore. The view upthere is breathtaking. Everything about Sinaia is just wonderful and I always revisit it with great pleasure.
Sinaia is a nice place to stay and offering great food. I loved the Bucegi restaurant. There were “cofetarii” everywhere! Even if going to the cable car from Bucegi, Sinaia is the better option. THE place to stay if going to the Peles Castle.
Landscape is amazing, very nice for winter sports as well as for summer hikings. There are also some nice places worth a visit, like Peles Castle, Cantacuzino Palace, etc. But the prices are just unjustified and insane. Having to pay 5€ just to be able to "visit" the terasse of the palace which is nothing special (on top of the 5€ parking/h) where you can order a 9€ simple cheese cake is just rip-off. Or 30€ for the whole Castle tour.
Sinaia was a lovely town to visit with great restaurants and the most decadent and amazing castle - and other historic buildings and a park. It's a great town to walk around with a beautiful walk to the castle lined with tourist cabins selling all sorts of local products. We especially liked the cafe called Toucan in the centre. Our teenagers were delighted to find out when we arrived that just up the road was Cantacuzino Castle which was the filming site for the Nevermore Academy... for the film Wednesday. Favourite restaurants included: Avalanche, Carpati and Hotel Bucegi. We tried to get in Snow restaurant but that was fully booked but it looked great. Staff in all were SO friendly. A well-stocked supermarket in the centre of town and open late. We went to Sinaia as a ski holiday and were not lucky with the weather for skiing (too windy on several days). Quite a lot of the runs were shut lower down. When we did get to ski, it was good (but quite long queues). However, having so much to do in Sinaia and surrounding areas meant we were never short of activities when we couldn't ski. Everywhere we went, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Not far from the Dracula inspired castle and another ski resort near Brasov which we visited. We also visited a few of the smaller ski resorts in the valley. The main road North of Sinaia towards Brasov can be notoriously busy with delays over an hour. It takes an hour to get to Brasov but in busy traffic it takes 2-3 hours. It's okay early and late though. And the views are stunning!
I stay at that hotel too. As AUSTRALIAN. I was very happy. Then I recommended to my sister. When she check in with her Romanian Passport. She was victim of Discrimination. She’s received different treatment. That is the reality.
I was there at the end of November. Peles castle is the most beautiful castle! Amazing wooden art. All details are really good. Pelisor castle is not so good. It's a pity that christmas decorations in the center were turned off.
