The location is amazing, right by the lake. The manager(Dieud) and the entire staff were really friendly, kind and helpful. The food was great. It's a place I will go back again and again.

Big beautiful room (more like little cottage), spacious terase, and outside shower with plenty of hot water with most amazing view. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Everything else was just exceptional. Stuff, food, activities, view, pool. Really one of the best accommodations we stayed in.

Everything was nice : the access, the view, the room and overall the dinner and breakfast. Thank you to the Chef. I enjoyed this peaceful place. It's not huge and it's perfect like that. A place to be as a couple or with friends. I enjoyed the bath and the view from there.😜 This place is new and I hope they will keep this good standard.

I had a wonderful experience at this property. The staff were exceptionally friendly, kind, and always willing to assist. From the security team to our waiter, Brown, a tall and very attentive young man, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I would also like to give special recognition to the amazing property manager, Miss. Mashema. She was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and always ready to assist whenever needed. Everything was amazing. We received an exceptional welcome, the food was healthy and delicious, and we got all the assistance we needed for touring. My kids loved the lodge and all the activities they experienced, including cruising on Lake Kivu, swimming, enjoying the fishermen experience, and of course, playing cards. We had an unforgettable time. The owners, Aicha and Ivan, are incredibly kind and caring. It was a wonderful vacation. Umurobyi is a peaceful and quiet place - with a great view, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
