Set in Mahe, 1.6 mi from Anse Takamaka Beach, Domaine Desaubin Luxury Villas offers accommodations with a free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. Just perfect. 3 chalets only. Very big room surrounded by palm trees. Very quiet and at 10m literally from the wild beach (fully private). The service and breakfast was perfect ! Manuel and her family and staff was very kind. It’s located in the best place in Mahé (far from the uninteresting Beau Vallon). Stop your research on booking and book this ! We’ll be back soon before noisy tourist come 😉
Double Tree by Hilton Seychelles Allamanda Resort & Spa lies on the coastal shores of Anse Forbans in Mahė. The staff is INCREDIBLE! Can't say enough good things about Doreen and her staff! They went the extra mile for us no matter what we asked! Can't wait to go back!
Located 1.8 mi from Anse Soleil Beach, Seaside Self Catering offers a garden, barbecue facilities and air-conditioned accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. Very easy check in and check out. Friendly staff. Nothing fancy but very convenient with a great location just by the beach and a mini market.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and restaurant, Sun Properties and Resort Hotel is located just 2 minutes’ walk from the white sand Beau Vallon Beach. It also offers a tour desk and ticket service.... We have arrived at the hotel early in the morning, however already after the breakfast time. The staff was very kind and organised for a small breakfast and fresh coffee, which we appreciated. The property and the rooms are nicely maintained. Our room was spacious and facing the pool area. Ordering a pizza at the Resort for dinner or bringing in some takeout from Leo's food-truck nearby and enjoying at our private balcony with a couple of Seybrews was a nice touch. The pool was also very good and had extended working hours. The parking was free and available at the property. For those wanting to cook at home, kitchenette was available in the room. The breakfast had a good selection - it offered coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, crepes, toast, pastries and jams. The beach is a couple minutes walk away, so are also some further dining options. We felt very welcome, and all our requests have been swiftly address. There are a number of small shops available nearby, one being across the street, however we thought that the ones 350m away up the hill (we took our car there) were cheaper. The property offers free WiFi. For the price, the hotel offers really good value in the area. Overall could not recommend it more!
Set high above sea level, Villa Kayola - Self Catering is set on Mahe Island, 15 minutes' walk from the beach at Anse aux Pins. Free private parking is available on site. Spectacular view, kitchen very well equipped and the bed is super comfortable.
Featuring a spacious terrace and garden with panoramic mountain views, The Orchard offers accommodations in a quiet area near Barbarons on Mahe Island, 6.2 mi from Port Launay Beach, 7.4 mi from Anse... Induka was the best host, very friendly and helpful. He made us the best breakfast with fresh fruits from the garden, pancakes and more. The house is very big with a beautiful garden, the room was spacious with a nice balcony. Not far away there are many beaches to explore.
Beautiful island with a little for every taste: amazing beaches (for families, adults and snorkelling), great scuba diving, water activities and excursions, amazing nature trails, good choice of restaurants. If you want to explore the island car rental (40/50 €/day)is a must as public transport is limited (waiting time can be 30/40 mins - 7SR each ride). If you want to explore the best beaches or plantations/waterfalls/attractions consider a car.
Mahe is great! I loved it so much. Firstly the Ocean for sure, with lots of beaches along the costs. There's plenty of activities to do like snorkeling, diving, surfing, kayaking, hiking, etc. Due to Covid-19 they have some restrictions of course but still you can have a great time there. Restaurants and bars are open until 10 pm, but some of them close earlier to allow their staff to get homes before curfew. Shops, minimarkets close at 7 pm. Wearing of masks is mandatory in public places, and they register your name country and temperature at the entrance in every restaurant, café, shop, etc. to have a track of visitors. To get around you can either rent a car or use a taxi, public buses are not allowed for tourists now because of COVID-19. Overall the place is very safe. People are super welcoming, helpful, friendly and always smiling. There's a great choice of what to eat depends on your personal taste but most popular is fish and seafood of course. Just go there, relax by the beach, get some walk around. In Mahe you forget about your everyday problems and routines, you are just enjoying being in the moment.
Everything is good except Food. Mahe is very touristic and in most places prices for food are too expensive comparing to what you can get on Praslin or La Digue. Sometimes you pay 2x but get the same or even smaller portions and lower quality in restaurants than on other islands.
Well organized bus transport. Beautiful beaches. Takamaka Distillery is a must visit. We cooked it ourselves, the owners of the property and the food for the home.Walking around the capital Victoria is an unforgettable experience, visiting the botanical garden too. If you love fish and seafood you should visit Beau Vallon Beach.
It was everything you wanted it to be, the most amazing beaches and fabulous sea for snorkelling. In January it was lovely and warm daytime and at night, we did get a few rainy days though. I would definitely recommend hiring a car, we did some bus trips which were great and very cheap but you will see alot more in a car. We found the restaurants, supermarket food and drink quite dear so chose to eat in mostly but then we are spoilt with cheap prices where we live. The evenings were very quiet, I was expecting a bit more to do but this didn't matter as we had a lovely villa to stay in each evening and relax.
The beaches are way more beautiful than those on the island Praslin. Mahe has more stores where you can buy everythnig you need. There are a lot of take-aways which is great, especially if you are not staying in the hotel. The Beau Vallon is one of the most beautiful beaches we've seen in Seychelles. You have many food stations at the beach and there is also a bar. Its good to have a car, so you can see most of the island. The people are all very kind and helpfull. We had great experience.
All are really excellent. The villa located near few stores and in ten minutes from the beach with multiple cafe. I think, cheapest price in this area. Really silent atmosphere despite location the road in hundred meters. Also one more advantage - you will be living like a local people and near the local people. Also it's improtant to mention two more features. If you don't like the morning sounds of roosters, it's not for you due many roosters in the nearby houses that wake up in 4am (its a sounds of nature, it's not disadvantage). And one really disadvantage - if you and your neighbors will be simultaneously in yours verandas - you will interfere each other with your voices. Everything else about this location just a fine.
Location is great. You fall asleep with waves crashing against the beach. The pool was nice too. Cleanness was perfect. Owner was super friendly and helpful.
