The hotel has a massive territory - you can easily spend several days exploring it. You can feed and pet giant tortoises, hit any of the 5 beaches the hotel has, hike to Ros Lepa or across the hotel's peninsula (the latter hike will probably take around 1.5-2 hours), snorkle, take a kayak or a SUP and chill in one of the two lagoons. Food was good both at the buffet and à la carte restaurants; however, we didn't go to Cyann, so cannot say anything about it. We were on half-board and this was probably a good idea given that we ended up having dinner at the hotel every day due to it's rather isolated location. The hotel seems to have nice sustainability practices including refillable water bottles in the rooms, larger than usual shower gel and shampoo bottles to reduce plastic waste, etc. The wildlife on the hotel's territory is quite diverse - we saw at least 4 species of crabs and 2 species of hermit crabs. You also occasionally come across a coconut on the beach that might be fun to crack.

And the accommodation was perfectly equipped and most importantly, everything was almost new or very little used .. cutlery, pots, oven, washing machine, iron, etc.

Christa was very kind and helpful, the property (it is the lower floor of the house, owners lives upstairs) is very nice with fully equipped kitchen and spacious living room. The location is really calm and relaxing with nice view to the Morne Blanc. The property is more suitable for guest with their own car, since the nearest accessible beach is couple kilometers away. However, we noted a bus stop on the main road (200 metres downhill from the house) with buses goinq quite frequently.

Well maintained with great views and staff! Our room was good, had a balcony with a forest view. There's a nice outdoor swimming pool. Lovely swimming there at night watching stars. There's also a lounging gazebo near the swimming pool as well as sun beds, and tables / sofas to do work, socialize or have breakfast. You can also walk further from the swimming pool towards a kind of a cliff to see sunset and a partial sea view. You can see quality wood and building materials used for this property, it's beautifully designed. Very tranquil. The other hotel clientele were all lovely. The staff was great! Shout out to Nathaniel for being so attentive and helpful! She helped us order takeout food and made sure it was delivered to us even when her shift already finished. There is a friendly care taker guy from Bangladesh that stays there at night for emergencies. We heard other people from other hotels complain about their properties, and that made us feel extra lucky for staying in waterfall accommodation (official name is Villa Vanilla). We had our PCR test there. The staff visited our property and we had the test done by the pool, very quick, seamless and friendly. Also note that Sauzier waterfall is less than 10 minutes on foot from the property (2 minute walk along the road then 7 minute hike into the walking path) and it's free entrance unlike if you access it from the other side of town. The hotel is a good place as a base to explore the west coast of Mahe. It is also on a steep hill accessible by a narrow steep road. It makes the views worthwhile but drive slowly up and down. Will definitely come back to this property if I'm in Mahe.

The location of the house is amazing, it’s really special with an amazing view. There is absolutely anything you need, can be found in the house. In addition Vivienne is such an amazing host, taking care of everything that we needed. Highly recommended with family or even two families.
