Even while fully booked, it felt very peaceful. We spent lots of time in the central garden/yard, where there are places to sit and some things for kids to do. The bathrooms were nice - clean, well equipped, adequate for number of guests. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable. It felt family run. They were helpful with queries beforehand. Breakfast was very good.

The summer house is newly built, fresh, and very well maintained. It is set in a green area, not far from the lake, though in our opinion a bit far from Norrtälje for frequent trips back and forth. The garden is beautifully designed, and there is also a lovely sauna, although we unfortunately didn’t have time to use it. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing your own meals, and the living room is cosy and comfortable. Everything was spotless, and the host was responsive and extremely helpful. We especially appreciated their kindness in sending us by post the books we had accidentally left behind.

I would surely use this camping if I am around. Location to the ferry is just amazing - 1 minute by car.

Great location and amenities. The restaurant was great, so was breakfast. Nice personal touches in the room with coffee and toffee.

The Åtellet Hotell re-opened in April 2009. It is located at the mouth of the Norrtälje River, with the archipelago and sea at walking distance.

The breakfast included PANCAKES as well as various flatmeats and cheeses, fresh rolls, boiled eggs, and all sorts of goodies! It was very pleasant indeed. And the bed was comfortable, even luxurious, with a lovely view over the garden.
