I booked this cottage for Midsummer with two other Scottish friends. It was modernised fairly recently and a lot of love and thought has clearly gone into giving it all the facilities needed for self catering, plus some homely Swedish touches. Its location opposite the COOP at the centre of the lovely village of Solleron is perfect. Anna-Karin's very kind and helpful.

Very cosy in a quite neighbourhood close to Siljan. A mere 30 minute walk in to the city centre. Host was very nice and accommodating. The little “grannyflat” was small but had all the as amenities you could wish for. And parking up front.

On our way home we just needed a place to sleep. We found Prinsgården by chance and we can absolutely recommend this place. With our arrive we got a warm welcome by the prince, the owner of Prinsgården. He knows a lot about the history of the house. The room was perfect. Cozy and with our own toilet. Fresh bedsheets on the bed and a big towel. Acces to a fully equiped kitchen and a hot shower. We sleeped very well and started the day with a tasty breakfast. Next summer we plan to go back to Sweden and a visit to Prinsgården is definitely on our list.

Overlooking the River Lillån, this family-run hotel is quietly located in central Orsa. It offers a private bridge, a breakfast room with river views and rooms with free WiFi.
