My partner and I booked this apartment as we were skiing in Isaberg Mountain Resort for the weekend. The resort was less than a 10 minute drive from the apartment with amazing views of lakes along the drive. The apartment itself was very spacious with 1 large double bed room and 1 other room which had two single beds and a bunk bed (we didn’t use this room). The kitchen had everything we needed and was fully kitted out with equipment. We brought food with us and bought some groceries in a Coop (in a town called Hestra before you reach Grimsås where the apartment is) before we got the apartment. I would recommend you do this as there are not many shops around. It was a really easy checkin process and Christian was a pleasure to deal with.

Dating back to the early 1900s, this hotel lies by Lake Algustorpasjön, 3 km from Isaberg Ski Resort. It offers free Wi-Fi, fine dining, along with an outdoor pool, relaxation and gym facilities.

The property is very close to the mountain resort. It has complete amenities as well, and the kitchen is big. We had a quadruple room which was perfect for all 3 of us.

The perfect red cabin retreat Staying in this traditional Swedish red cabin was like stepping into a postcard. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is exactly the place to be. The hosts really went out of their way to create a comfortable holiday apartment. The place is nicely renovated and was very clean. The kitchen has more than I am used to from holiday homes, spices, some flour, coffee, tea, sugar, and a good selection of kitchen utensils. Even a waffle and sandwich maker. The rooms and beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and had good water pressure and we had more than enough towels. The kids' room has toys, a baby bed, and there is a highchair in the kitchen, so I can recommend the place for families with younger kids. The apartment building itself reminded us of our youth in Eastern Germany which made us chuckle a little - but the apartment more than makes up for it. The location itself is very good, too if you liked it quiet (we do). We went on a bike tour to Isaberg which took about 20 minutes or so (but there is a very short stretch to do on a road where cars go 90kmh, so not recommended for young kids). There is also a national park with great hiking opportunities near by as well as museums etc.

The garden is very fun and it is near to Isaburg. But inside a farm. Great location. The owner is very helpful and responsive.
