- beautiful landscape, picturesque surroundings, no noise- just the birds chirping - the house itself seems modern and clean and offers everything you need for some nights, it’s cozy and well equipped - communication with the host was very easy and uncomplicated

The owner is very kind and helpfull, he did his best to help us out with all matters we were concern of, like we were part of his family. The accommodation is top. I do recommand this place for sure, do not hesitate.

Beautiful hotel, very well designed, you feel like you are in someone's beautiful mansion and you can really imagine how the family that owned it lived and used it. Very homey and authentic. Every detail is taken care of. Great restaurant and amazing breakfast.

Amazing place, the pictures before we arrived did not do justice to what we got when we arrived. Food, atmosphere, large rooms and staff. Only the best recommendations and we will definitely plan when we can come back again.

Breakfast was superb. We liked the lobby with activities (games, crafts, comics) for children. The location was very good, right next to the station and very close to the city center (this is mainly due to Alingsås being a very small city, though).

Clean and cosy. Perfect for a short stay ig you’re a couple or a small family.

This is a real gem. While on the plot of a farm it is placed really well to have a full wilderness view. It is well in the countryside yet reasonably close to Gothenburg

Very nice and modern little studio – spotless, well maintained, and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are super friendly, communication works like a Volvo (smooth, reliable, and with no unnecessary drama), and check-in via keybox is as painless as buying kanelbullar at ICA. The bathroom deserves special mention – the rainforest shower has excellent pressure, and while the water isn’t “lava hot,” it’s perfectly fine for a proper shower. Probably a sensible Swedish energy-saving measure rather than a technical flaw. The bed is on the softer side – imagine sleeping on a giant cinnamon bun. If you like that, you’ll be in heaven; if not, you’ll still sleep well after a long day. Internet clocks in at 5–10 Mbit, which is perfect for Teams calls, emails, and scrolling through endless IKEA hacks. Just don’t plan a full Marvel marathon in 8K – though honestly, you’ll be too busy relaxing anyway. Free Nescafé and teabags are provided, and to my surprise even two pairs of spa slippers were waiting – a classy touch. The studio itself seems to be a converted annex of the main house, as it also has a sauna (not sure if you could use it, if you'd ask kindly). During my stay the sauna wasn’t in use (currently moonlighting as a hoover storage room), but with the slippers and setup you still get that cozy sauna-lounge vibe. Space is smartly used, though a small sideboard for your undies would be a welcome future addition so you wouldn't have to live out of the suitcase. For meals or laptop work, the hosts kindly offered a winter-garden-style room with a proper dining table – which makes you feel a bit like you’ve been upgraded to the deluxe package. Overall: a neat little studio with character, comfort, and a sprinkle of Scandi minimalism. If I’d had a student studio like this back in the day, I might still be studying just to stay longer. Highly recommended – especially if you like your accommodation clean & practical.
