Perfect place to stay in this beautiful region. The hosts were so welcoming you instantly feel relaxed and at home. The room was beautifully decorated with an incredibly comfortable bed. In fact, the whole place is a feast for the eyes, with wonderful attention to detail throughout. We ate a delicious meal in the restaurant and had a great continental breakfast to start the next day of exploring. Can’t recommend highly enough!

IKEA Hotell is 500 metres from Älmhult train and bus station. Decorated with IKEA furniture, it offers Swedish cuisine and en-suite rooms with a TV. WiFi and parking are free.

The kindest couple went out of their way to come pick us up and welcome us to their magical Villa. Surrounded by forest, birds, pets and farm animals, it felt like we were in a storybook. The place is beautifully curated from head to toe, you could tell Birgitt is an artist. The bed was beyond comfortable and it was a dream to wake up to such a delicious, local breakfast with homemade marmalade, bread, and eggs from the chickens that you could see out the window. We truly felt at home. Thank you so much for such a memorable weekend!

Thé location and the interior design is amazing. It is located in a nice area surrounded by lakes and forest. The interior is great. It is a nice Swedish cottage with very comfortable sofas and beds. It is decorated in a traditional and at the same time elegant style with quality furniture. Anders, the host is very nice and helped us.

It really is a charming place, with two living rooms, a kitchen, and a large, partially covered terrace. The bed was comfortable and the stay was very pleasant. The other guests were nice, quiet, and respectful, and sharing the bathroom was no problem. Communication with the owners was excellent; they respond quickly, are reliable, very nice, and helpful. In the morning, they served delicious Swedish coffee. The location is great, not far from the train station and right next to the IKEA Museum. A big supermarket with long opening hours is also not far away, and on Wednesdays there was even a small market. The price-performance ratio is fair. The location is a good base. Älmhult is well connected to the train network, making it easy to take a day trip to Malmö or Lund. In general, the city is home to very nice, open-minded people, and I can recommend the place.
