Located in the pretty town of Sollentuna, this hotel is only a 15-minute train ride from Stockholm Central Station. It offers free Wi-Fi internet and rooms with flat-screen TVs. Door key codes are sent to you so that you do not have to go to the reception or something. Always enough parking space.
Located within 2.1 mi of Sollentuna Expo Center in Sollentuna, Magnolia House Stockholm provides accommodations with seating area. Everything is new, modern, good quality, comfortable, spacious enough and very clean. Internet and the key app worked perfectly. For those sensitive to noise like I am, don't worry: the sound isolation of the rooms is impressively good. Erik, the manager, was extremely helpful, attentive, polite, uncomplicated and friendly, from before our arrival to our last-minute extension request; he made sure that we could feel at home, and during that entire week, indeed we did :) Overall, speaking about cost-benefit, it's a great place for longer stays in Stockholm area, as you can cook, sleep well, do laundry and work from there as if you were at home, and be in Stockholm's city center in about half an hour. A helpful tip to save you from an eventual unnecessary trip to the supermarket: don't forget to bring your own dishwasher sponge and soap (for sink and or machine), laundry detergent, sugar, salt and pepper and oil to cook ;)
Forenom Aparthotel Stockholm Kista offers free WiFi, a shared sauna and bright rooms with a kitchenette. Kistamässan is a 5-minute walk away. The room was beautifull, cosy, fully equiped and clean. The breakfast was very good with fresh baked bread. Everything was perfect and I liked a lot that we had digital key and not worry about check in and check out procedures.
Apparently this is a higher rated hotel than the average (4Star), and supposedly typical of the country. I didn't find the bed comfortable, the room had no air circulation except for the windows, no window screens to keep the flies and mosquitos out; not my idea of a 4-star hotel.
It was ok, not far from Stockholm with good train connection about every 20 minutes with SL commuter trains 🙂 But I haven't seen so much about Sollentuna/Rotebro myself because I was there to do some stuff in Stockholm It was a little bit far to walk night time from the train to the hostel where I stayed
There isn't much to do in Sollentuna itself. We were staying on a campsite a little outside of the town itself but did go in daily to either buy food, eat out or get the train to Stockholm. As with all of Sweden, it is clean, safe and the people are friendly and all very good at speaking English! Also, it is only about 15 minutes into Stockholm by train and a good central place to do a bit of exploring by car, with a couple of sights like Sigtuna and Millesgarden within about 20 minutes drive.
It’s my home town and I love it. The Apartment Hotel is located only blocks away from my sister’s condo and from my stepfather’s home. Not only that, Edsberg Gardens at the Edsviken inlet is located nearby, with wonderful walking paths, a beautiful castle built around 1630 and Edsbacka Wärdshus, which is a fabulous restaurant.
Excellent place, generously recommended! Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, although could broaden out their cheese selection (better ones). Loved their relaxing area, fantastic saunas!
Edsbergs Slott, the castle now in possession of the municipality. Edsbacka Wärdshus, one of the few Swedish restaurants in the Guide Michelin. Rösjön Camping, outdoor swimming and connection to hiking paths in the wood all the way to Roslagen. Sollentuna simhall, one of the most modern swimming pools in the country. Sollentuna Centrum, shopping centre immediately at the the railway station where the commuter trains between Arlanda Airport and Stockholm city centre stop. Landsnora kvarn, an old water- and motor-driven mill and sawmill once belonging to Edsberg. Väsjöbacken, one of the possibilities for downhill skiing within the county of Stockholm.
The Hotel is fantastic. Brand new and exceptionally clean. I would not stay at any other Long Stay Hotel. The rooms are nicely furnished, the Wifi and everything was great and the place is equipped with a complete kitchen, like you have in your home. Erik, the manager was exceedingly nice and you can tell that he takes his role as a host very seriously.
The hotel is very clean in general. Breakfast was above my expectations. First day, our room was in the basement floor. Therefore, it was cold. Fortunately, they changed the room. Hospitality is good. Personnels are also helpful. The location is faraway from the city centre. Travel card is must!
A very modern and clean hotel, very helpful staff and also perfect for those who do not want too much attention from reception. We traveled with car and location was easy to reach. Will definitely stay here again.
Good location, next to the commuter train station. A short trip to the city centre. No traffic noise. Plenty of parking. Shopping mall right next to the hotel.
Great place and bigger than a hotel room Would be great in the summer months with the lake
