The location is wonferful with a large coastal area right outside your window. The center is also nearby with many restaurants and a few stores to shop at. The room was tidy, cozy and had an old-school charm to it.

The beds are excellent and the indoor air in the apartment was very fresh and healthy (at least in mid October) during our stay. Henrik (the host) was precise and friendly in his communications and flexible with our check-in and check-out. He was very patient to answer our questions concerning restaurants and hiking options. There is a free private parking next to the apartment which is a nice bonus. Private entrance to the street gave us a feeling of being locals for a few days. The apartment is very laid-back, nothing luxurious or polished, with a feeling of a cabin. Plenty to serve our needs and the building has nice historical details. The kitchenette is modest but has all the necessary equipments to prepare breakfast and light lunch. Availability of Netflix and Apple TV gave us parents some extra hours of sleep in the mornings. Strängnäs itself is a nice little town with a beautiful old town and all the needed services. Bakery is just around the corner and there are enough food options even off-season.
