This was my first time in Sweden, so I was a bit nervous, though I know that most Swedish speak excellent English. When I emailed to ask some questions as I was driving to the hotel, Ken stayed in contact, and answered my questions. At the hotel, Ken greets guests in a friendly manner. I loved the hotel! It's not a big fancy hotel, but so comfy. Nice breakfast, and Ken was always ready to find time to brew more coffee and answer questions. He gave me great advice about attending the Swedish Rock Festival, especially to go a day before to get the wrist band, and where to park. I was able to park close to the festival entrance by the vendors, so I really appreciated his advice. Also, I love France, but most of the hotels and homes have tile floor. I loved that Hotell Edgar's floors are wood. And, as I'd been in lots of hotels, I found that Hotell Edgar had the only easy-to-use locks and keys. Saved me lots of time! The hotel is within walking distance of a train station, grocery store, and downtown area. I'd love to stay there again!

A wonderful stay in a charming old house. It has it's atmosphere, related to rock festivals. The house is though renovated to an exceptionally modern level, so you can find everything you might need. You feel the real care of the hosts, both of the place itself and the guests. Highly recommend!

Ronica, the hostess, is a very personable and beautiful lady. She greeted me to show me around and was available for any questions of the area. The room had info within it that let me know the shuttle schedules, nearby things like all the beaches around the area. I was concerned for a shared bathroom - but it was not a problem at all, no concerns whatsoever. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and the instructions were to clean the bathroom after use, everyone did! It was a very nice breakfast with rolls, cold cuts, cheese, cucumber slices and tomatoes, as well as oatmeal/cereal, coffee, tea, and wonderful orange juice. The strangest part of the trip was when the sun was up - it stayed up until almost 11pm, and came back up at 245am. So even with the shutters closed, it is bright at 3 in the morning this time of year, similar to Alaska I guess. A Dollar Tree cheap little eye cover proved to be one of the best
