Great place for business travelers. Located in the center of the city; hotel is clean, well taken care of with amazing and friendly staff. Breakfast they serve is nice and coffee is really good. Hotel has a parking lot, so you can park your car and walk around the city. Many thanks to staff and Bojan from reception desk for proper welcome and hospitality. We will certainly come back and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel in Ptuj.

Loved the location so close to the city center and the kid friendly aquapark. The staff was extremely friendly, gave good advice and were keen to help. The apartment was very big with beautiful views. Be careful there is no air con, just fans. However, with a draft, it was fine even in 40°C heat. The balcony overlooked the gardens and city. Wow! Magical! Breakfast was....AMAZING. Fresh products from the garden and a great variety of food. We loved it! We would definitely recommend this beautiful.hotel!

Beautifully clean, spacious apartment. Comfortable beds. Exceptional sauna. Stocked kitchen with fresh eggs, fruit, homemade breads & extras. Kitchen has with all necessary items for cooking. Wonderfully warm, inviting, helpful hosts; recommended a fantastic local restaurant & surprised us with a delicious home cooked meal! We loved the location so much, that we canceled the last 2 nights of our holiday at a Croatian terme to continue our stay at this tremendous place. Great location for exploring the Styria region. The photos do not do this location justice. Peter & his wife are amazing hosts. As his 1st American guests, I recommend you STAY HERE!

First and foremost, this has been the best equipped apartment that i have even booked. The place was squeaky clean and everything you could think of, has been provided. A fully stocked fridge, bread, cheese, butter, wine, water, juice, candies for the kids, teas, personal hygiene products (name brand!), you name it, and the some more. the host was super helpful and nice, and the apartment was a short drive from Ptuj castle. Super host and super place.

Ptuj is a lovely old town with much history.

Ptuj is a lovely old town with much history. My husband was born there so I have visited many times and was very happy to see how the tourism has become more popular in the last 2 years. However Ptuj is still a very relaxed town with a nice cafe culture and some lovely restaurants with both modern and traditional food. A walk up to the old castle is a must as is a stroll along the river. The town boasts the oldest wine cellar with delicious wines on offer. The old cobbled streets can be a little steep for some and many choose to get around on bicycles. The town looks beautiful when all lit up on the evening especially the view from the river

Very nice historic town by the lake and river.

Very nice historic town by the lake and river. You have to see is the castle and its museums. You definitely should enjoy the breathtaking view of the surroundings. The Kurentova hiša museum in the city center is also great. We appreciated the nice interpretation of the guide who introduced us to an interesting local custom. I recommend eating at the fish restaurant Gostilna Ribič or at the restaurant Gostilna Amadeus. If someone likes ice cream, then I recommend Sladoled Deti at Slomškova street 14 where you can get a huge cone of great ice cream for 1.8 euros.

I loved it! The town has a very good vibe.

I loved it! The town has a very good vibe. Despite the old town not being very full of people, it is pretty amazing. We had the opportunity to have a tour guide, whom I highly recommend. She shared many interesting and funny facts or legends about this beautiful place. We stayed just for two nights, but next time I would love to take a bike trip around, visit the castle, and enjoy the spirit in the Music Cafe or the town cinema (the oldest cinema in Slovenia. :)

The accommodations were excellent.

The accommodations were excellent. Room was a perfect size, super clean, updated and comfortable bed. Breakfast and coffee were just what we wanted. We left with a full belly. Host was amazing. Answered all our questions and more! Location was within an easy walking distance to all local sightseeing buildings and restaurants.

the restaurant was good , but the hotel was not ,

the restaurant was good , but the hotel was not , the shared bathroom was not clean , the overall impression run down , reception busy with the restaurant , had much better experience in most of the other places i booked with you . first day breakfast ( 17. may ) both unfriendly and poor . no black tea . can not be recommended .

Sobe Prostija was a wonderful place to start our Slovenian adventure. Andrej met us in the courtyard to show us around, got up each morning to make the freshest bread for breakfast, was super responsive to our WhatsApp messages, and helped us get connected to local services (bike rentals, etc). The inn was very clean and comfortable, and we would absolutely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The neighbourhood is calm and peaceful, but at the same time, you can still enjoy the beautiful old town of Ptuj (located within walking distance). Breakfast was delicious and full of local specialities. We hope to be back next summer :)
