I never leave reviews like this, so if you are considering staying here, PLEASE read the entire review. Of the 45 countries I have either lived or visited, Slovenia and Apartma Saint Thomas is in the top three. The most serene and breathtaking views that are only rivaled by Glacier National Park and Victoria Falls. My wife has wanted to visit Saint Thomas church for years and cried when she saw that the apartment was literally right next to it! The way the fog moved in over the mountains and you could look down on top of them, the peace and stillness, the deep lush forest, the rolling meadows, and the church itself is something that has to be experienced first hand. There is no way to adequately put its beauty into words. It almost seems impossible that a place like this could actually exist. Suzann was absolutely AMAZING. She is so kind and loving and made it feel like we were visiting family. We instantly had a connection and were so sad when we had to leave. Suzann made the apartment a home. There were incredible touches she added, coffee maker with coffee, there was a full kitchen, and fresh grapes and apples in a bowl that looked like they may have been grown there. As a guy, these are not things I usually pay attention to, but it felt so welcoming, I couldn't help but notice it. If you need a place to escape the maddening crowd and find your soul, THIS is the place.

Very clean hotel with good value. Restaurant had amazing food and breakfast was very good as well. Staff was amazing, they even had food waiting for us as we were arriving very late. Overall our stay was well worth the money.

The apartment and communication with the host were perfect! It's located in a charming village near so many beautiful spots—Kranj, Ljubljana, and Bled are all within 30 minutes or less. Plus, having a bar right on the ground floor of the house was super convenient for grabbing a drink or anything else we needed. We were hoping for our visit to Pr Smolet but it was so much more. We were away from the busy city, high on a high, looking out in every direction at a beautiful mountain landscape, the site of a simple church on the hilltop, surrounded by the lovely noises of a working dairy farm…mooing cows, a bit of machinery in the distance, birds chirping, church bells nightly at 9am, and an overwhelming amount of GREEN everywhere. It was truly a little slice of heaven. The apartment was wonderful and met all of our needs. The hosts were super attentive to us, even bestowing us with fresh farm goods. We loved watching them tend so lovingly to their farm and their family. We stayed 6 nights and each day found new Slovenian treasures to explore. Pr Smolet was the perfect place to begin and end each day.

I was traveling a lot in many countries, but I never had so amazing host like this time. Everything was perfect, the room, the location, the view and the host. The rooms were big and spotless clean and the view from balcony was like from a fairy tale. We felt like we were part of there, the hosts were so welcoming and amazing to us. I am amazed about the experience we had at this amazing farm. I felt sorry that I left in the morning. We didn't know about the restaurant next to the location until the last day of our stay, but the food was delicios so I kindly recomand the restaurant too. I can not recomand enough these people. They put a part of their soul in everything they are doing ❣️. Thank you for everything ! I hope we will be visit you again soon !
